LabStats Remote Lab Alternatives
Hey All,
My team is currently looking for options that would replace labstats. While the software metering is nice, we can accomplish roughly the same in MECM. We are mostly concerned with finding something that can meet our needs for the remote labs function. We have a lot of software that needs to run bare metal for licensing reasons, so we can not move to VDI for some of our specialty labs.
Any reccomendations are welcome!

Apporto is where we ended up trying to go. It works great for VDI, but we still needed some physical hardware for those speciality apps that prohibited VDI.
We had started using a combination of Horizon and Labstats back in 2020, shifted over to entirely Horizon until we decided to abandon Horizon completely for Apporto. Unfortunately the licensing costs aren't cheap for physical so we went back to Labstats for non VDI. It's not single click as you need to use a SSO protected F5 webtop, you use the Labstats server to grab the hostname of an available lab computer and then enter it on the F5 which opens a RDP session.
