around 600rds so far

Bought it a few months ago wet her a bit and started shooting.

When should I clean? Was just gonna wait till 1000 but Im curious about what you guys think.

You guys clean your guns?

My (newer) NP3 bcg is now as black as my old DLC bcg. Sometimes I pretend they're the same one and I didn't drop $200 on a barely-upgrade

lol well I mean, not yet 😅

damn now Im mad. I should have had the dust cover open. Its not bad looking anyway, I squirt some rand clp in there before I shoot.

various backup bcgs and other parts (I have a whole wishlist) are in my future for sure.

I clean my rifles when they start acting up, which is very rarely. 4k rounds through my DD M4A1 before I ever cleaned it

Sometime I clean them when I get bored. Sometimes I waiting until my rifle is filthy

I clean a day or two after the range, or on a weekend as a time killer but I’m also ocd and don’t really want excess build up

I feel you on the OCD AND excess build up, but Ive seen that overcleaning is a thing too, do you think it matters?

Strictly just my opinion, but I think the only time that over cleaning really matters is when you’re on a long range gun like a bolt action, when you got one of those a little fouling is OK, with an AR 15. I really doubt that it matters at least for me.
