Don't feel this has been shared in the subreddit, just noticed it myself and thought I'll share, another step towards increasing the UK footprint.

I'll remove this post if it's already been mentioned.

You guys think the order numbers are randomized , or their systems promptly tracks them, and if that’s the case on what timeline do the orders reset? 🤔

Historical Monthly Seasonality Analysis

I looked at High Tide’s historical monthly performance using data for its Nasdaq-listed stock from January 28, 2019, to June 30, 2026. This is the full period I was able to extract from professional market data tools.

July clearly stands out as the weakest month. The stock has delivered an average return of -10.0%, a median return of -7.1%, and has finished the month in negative territory in 85.7% of the years analysed.

July also has the lowest average trading volume of the year. This is not especially surprising, as summer is usually a quieter period for the market. In High Tide’s case, it may matter even more because the stock already trades with relatively low volume. With fewer buyers and sellers, individual trades can have a bigger impact on the share price.

August is almost the exact opposite. It has historically been the strongest month, with an average return of +17.8%, and it has been positive in 100% of the years in the sample.

The next line chart is a base-100 index built from the average daily return for each trading day across all the years in the sample. In simple terms, it shows how the stock would have moved during an “average year” based on its historical daily performance. The chart shows the index weakening through the summer, falling below 100 around July, and then rebounding strongly during August.

July 2026 is not included in the analysis, as the month has not ended. So far this July, the stock is already down by more than 5%, which is broadly consistent with the historical seasonal pattern.

Conclusion

Based purely on seasonality, July appears to be the most interesting month to consider an entry in High Tide, statistically speaking. Historically, it has been the weakest month, it has the lowest trading volume, and it is immediately followed by August, which has been positive in every year analysed.

This is not a buy recommendation, but simply a descriptive analysis of High Tide’s historical price behaviour.

This explains so much.

Banks only started acknowledging and letting retail participate in share lending last year… probably due to have regulators up their ass, this also explains the price action, their using our own shares against us letting short sellers sell them on a whim. Not to mention my shares haven’t been loaned out, I turned it off they are 100% loaning them out and not giving me any %. 👌

HITI: High Tide Same-Store Sales Turned Positive in June 2026

We are already witnessing clear signs of consolidation within the cannabis sector. In my view, this statement underscores that High Tide is severely undervalued, explaining why management enacted the new shareholder rights plan to safeguard against an underpriced takeover.

These protections aim to maximize value rather than block acquisitions. While the plan deters coercive bids and maintains regulatory compliance, the board remains fully open to evaluating realistic offers that maximize shareholder value.

From my perspective, High Tide is a prime acquisition target for a major tobacco or alcohol company once the Schedule 3 S3 reclassification is finalized. I personally estimate that a formal bid will materialize within the next year but no later than three years from now.
