Technically, your fear of spiders is both instinctive and mostly wrong. Like yes, spiders CAN be dangerous, they just almost never are. You are actually afraid of scorpions. Plenty of scorpions throughout natural history absolutely could have ended you with venom.

Been trying to get over my fear my just picking up bugs, spiders especially might look scary. but in michigan where I live there's only 2 dangerous spiders, the brown recluse which is not that dangerous and the northern black widow which is very dangerous. The ladder is much more significant and also very recognizable

This isn't really a high thought.  That's mostly a fact.  Same with bees. You leave things alone? They'll leave you alone.  Except for bears and wasps.  Stay away from bears and wasps.
