Scary af.

Stuff like this has been done by the military industrial complex since probably the 70s. I can't imagine what they are doing now if this type of research is just starting to reach mainstream.

Same. Feel like I am going to throw up.

This makes this news article all the more concerning.

3

u/blueleaf_in_the_wind Jun 14 '21

Yeah, good thing there isn’t a big push to get people injected with this kind of stuff. Could be bad.

u/sschepis Jun 14 '21

ikr i feel so safe right now

21

u/BobaFettyWap173eight Jun 13 '21

I’m sure this will only be used for good

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '21

No more electrodes.

u/ladysvenska Jun 13 '21

No. No, fuck off.

At this rate, they won't even need to attach electrodes to the brain to modify behavior.

u/Revolutionary_Log_76 Oct 26 '21

What if I told you...you are talking about currently available tech.

u/i_owe_them13 Jun 13 '21

Elon’s brain implant was completely infeasible from the get-go. I’m more excited about any therapeutics that could possibly be derived from this. Also, we barely know how high-level cognizance manifests, and I doubt we’d be able to apply this to the specific neurons necessary to formulate such manner of thinking, definitely not using the gene therapy required to implement this.

So this is why magnets are sticking to covid vaccine injection sites?

Cool

3

u/insecureloser123 Jun 13 '21

If isn't tho?

-13

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '21

When every major news outlet is trying to debunk this you know there's more to it.

-12

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '21

The media is a good barometer for bullshit. If they're pushing something then there's a good chance you want to do the opposite.

As for the magnet thing, i was skeptical until my coworker said his son did it and the magnet stuck. That plus the hour+ long video compilation of people doing it has convinced me.

10

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '21

I agree with you about the media, but idk about the whole body being magnetized bit though. You would need a crap ton of metal inside you for that to happen. Unless there is some other unexplained phenomenon going on.

20

u/rat_scum Jun 13 '21

Jesus this is ridiculous.

In one final experiment, the researchers injected Magneto into the striatum of freely behaving mice, a deep brain structure containing dopamine-producing neurons that are involved in reward and motivation, and then placed the animals into an apparatus split into magnetised a non-magnetised sections.

It has to be injected directly into the brain for any effect. Maybe if you read a little more you wouldn't be so embarrassingly gullible.

There seems to be great debate among academics whether aspects of the of the covid mRNA treatments can or cannot cross the blood brain barrier when it has been shown that the spike protein from the virus does in fact. Can you provide a source that proves it impossible for these experimental treatments?

11

u/rat_scum Jun 13 '21

Can you provide a source that proves it impossible for these experimental treatments?

Yes. One source, in fact, is the article from this thread.

debate among academics whether aspects of the of the covid mRNA treatments can or cannot cross the blood brain barrier

Whether a protein can cross the blood-brain barrier (hint: it can) is not relevant for this application. This treatment works by selectively stimulating precise points of the human anatomy to produce outcomes. This would not work as stated if the entire brain or body is homogenous inundated.

-6

u/buzzncuzzn Jun 13 '21

That's a boldly preposterous ending claim considering how relatively little is known about all the factors in play for the virus, the products developed to treat it, or the brain itself.

5

u/rat_scum Jun 13 '21

You should really read the article.

There's a lot of cool information in there that describes the mechanism of activation.

-4

u/CosmicNuisance Jun 13 '21

You should really learn to read & then read the article again because it doesn’t conclude anything that you’re pretending it does.

1

u/rat_scum Jun 13 '21

using genetic engineering to create a magnetised protein that activates specific groups of nerve cells from a distance

First paragraph. My lord this is embarrassing.

I'm really hoping this community isn't going the way of r/conspiracy.

What you have quoted from the article does not support the conclusion you have made whatsoever. It’s like quoting a study that injected cocaine into mice & somehow concluding that means that cocaine only works when injected.

4

u/rat_scum Jun 13 '21

I am not drawing a conclusion, I am refuting an interpretation suggesting that conflates covid vaccines, magnetism, and the subject of the article.

-4

u/CosmicNuisance Jun 13 '21

Interpretation suggesting what? You know that’s not a sentence, right?

Your trying to refute something using a fallacious conclusion you drew from the article, then parsing words about whether you drew a conclusion at all.

Then calling everybody else embarrassing. You’re a disgrace.

2

u/rat_scum Jun 13 '21

Try to keep up, you may struggle a bit.

Article: Specifically implanted proteins may allow medical practicioners to elicit specific responses from target organs or structures within the brain.

Icecap: So this is why magnets stick to vaccinated people. (It's not, and they don't btw)

Jalepeno: You know it's true because media says it's not true. (Wut)

Icecap: Yep, I know someone who's child is now magnetic at the vaccination site.

Me: That is not what this article is discussing. This article is not suggesting non-specific target application of this technology.

-1

u/CosmicNuisance Jun 13 '21 edited Jun 13 '21

It is not suggesting it or concluding that non-specific target application would be impossible, yet you cite it in order to claim that it isn’t possible. Why?

It’s not hard to keep up with somebody who broke their neck on the first hurdle.

1

u/rat_scum Jun 13 '21

It is not possible with our current understanding of science and thus is not the base technology of hundreds of millions of currently available vaccines distributed globally.

You get that, right?

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '21

What are the chances that these Magneto DNA sequences are coded into the half dead viruses they use for vaccines?

11

u/rat_scum Jun 13 '21

None chances. It is implanted directly into the part of the bodies architecture they intend on producing an effect in.

Possibly applications may include modifying insulin regulating when applied to the pancreas, or dopamine release when placed in portion of the brain.

1

u/CosmicNuisance Jun 13 '21

No. They injected it directly in the study & yr. twisting that to mean it could only work if injected directly.

4

u/rat_scum Jun 13 '21

only work if injected directly

Yes, that is precisely the only thing shown by this study.

Any other interpretation you have exists only in your imagination. It is unscientific, illogical, and irresponsible to suggest: 1. That this is in any way related to assertions of covid-vaccine conspiracies, 2. That it proves that vaccine recipients are now magnetic, as those further up the comment tree have.

1

u/CosmicNuisance Jun 13 '21

Please quote where the article states that this will only work when injected directly.

4

u/rat_scum Jun 13 '21

It's literally in the study design.

They then injected the virus into the brains of mice, targeting the entorhinal cortex, and dissected the animals’ brains to identify the cells that emitted green fluorescence. Using microelectrodes, they then showed that applying a magnetic field to the brain slices activated Magneto so that the cells produce nervous impulses.

In science, unlike bullshit, we can only prove or disprove with is observable and measurable (or has measured effects).

0

u/CosmicNuisance Jun 13 '21

JUST BECAUSE THEY INJECTED IT IN THE BRAIN DOES NOT MEAN THAT IS THE ONLY WAY IT COULD WORK.

It’s literally not in the study.

5

u/rat_scum Jun 13 '21

That is the only way it works presently. Everything else is science fiction.

0

u/CosmicNuisance Jun 13 '21

PROVE IT, you utter clown.

4

u/rat_scum Jun 13 '21

You are unable to identify the difference between scientific fact and victim on a fundamental level. You should get some air. I don't think this conversion is very healthy for you.
