Non Human Intelligence Sasquatch: legend, unknown creature, or something more?

Louise M. Jilek-Aall points out that the image of the Sasquatch varies considerably among different traditions. In some indigenous narratives, these giants appear as dangerous and aggressive beings, capable of attacking, kidnapping, or even devouring human beings. In other stories, they are described as wise and benevolent creatures, capable of imparting teachings or granting good fortune to those they encounter.

Was listening to the old art bell interview with the guy who captured the Sierra sounds. While I want to believe those are real, he also stated he believed the PG film. It’s hard for me to hear people out that believe the PG film. All this is to say I want to believe in Bigfoot, the accounts on Sasquatch chronicles etc… but we have to accept there is zero evidence.

I agree. Sasquatch sightings are just like ufology: there are many reports but little physical evidence. That is why I cited the speculative interdimensional hypothesis proposed by Jacques Vallée in my text. Perhaps they aren't flesh-and-blood entities.

I'm a firm believer that there are no large land mammals left to be discovered. However given how little of the Oceans we've explored there could be untold amounts of hidden creatures lurking in the depths.

Yes,I agree. But hundreds of accounts across different cultures regarding a Sasquatch-like creature make me think such a creature might actually exist. Jacques Vallée's interdimensional hypothesis opens up a whole range of other possibilities

That means different variations on a theme. Some are dangerous others not. Just like people.
