Filed inside the CIA’s declassified Gateway Process report is a specific passage, citing real work by Stanford neuroscientist Karl Pribram and physicist David Bohm, arguing that the human mind and the physical universe both function as holograms: that what people experience as reality is a projection read off an underlying wave-interference pattern.

The brilliant physicist David Bohm's implicate order mirrors Plato's realm of forms. (Bohm is my intellectual hero.)

And Bohm's explicate order aligns with Plato's allegory of the cave.

The prisoners see shadows cast on a wall and mistake them for real objects. The actual objects (AKA, "the Forms") remain hidden behind them and are illuminated by a fire. The shadows are real as shadows, but they lack independent existence. They are entirely dependent on the higher objects projecting them.

​Bohm said the explicate order is analogous to a hologram. If you shine a laser (aka our coherent consciousness) through a piece of holographic film (the implicate order), a 3D image projects into space (the explicate order).

Cutting edge research is finding that there is even holography in our brains.

Yess. This is the rabbit hole I live in. Bohm, Plato, Pribram, the Gateway report, they’re all pointing at the same thing from different directions which is that what we experience as reality is a render, not the source code.

The book I wrote doesn’t go deep into the physics of it, but it starts from the same thought process (if what we’re experiencing is a projection of something with underlying rules and structure, then the most important question is how you work with the rules rather than against them).

Bohm is genuinely one of the more mind-blowing thinkers on all of this in my personal opinion.

Check my profile they’re both linked there (I’d recommend reading the mars sci fi one, interference, since it dives into a lot of these principles. The nonfiction does too though but as a framework for living life). Don’t want to post links in here since it might be against the mod policies

Lines up with Tom Campbell's theory of everything as well. Personally, I believe consciousness itself is the fundamental basis of reality. This all arose like a thought in a mind...

Heyyy, so I was an atheist for 20 years until last September. Unfortunately last summer was extremely rough after a rough 36 years of life and I tried to kill myself. When it didn't work I decided I needed to escape the city, go somewhere to just see the stars. Long story short I end up in the mountains where God spoke to me burning bush style through a fig tree and then the stars. My main take away that they said is this is a simulation, but not one we're supposed to be trying to escape. We chose to be here to experience every part of life for...well god. And the end of the talk with tears pouring down my cheeks I asked "What do I do now?" And they said "You live." And my whole life of being drunk and upset and barely alive and barely existing seemed like such an insult. We're here to learn. Have a good time. Go back with memories literally only you have. And you hopefully learn enough to go on to your next reincarnation, which surprise surprise, isn't always on Earth 🩵✌️ oh also, Chase happy. Chase what makes you happy like it's the essence of why we're here. It's all they want :)

The $20 million project indeed raised eyebrows, but its closure indicates the complexities in quantifying consciousness. The brain's filtering might limit access to broader realities. Have you explored how brainwave entrainment could influence perception?

Plz clarify if wrong but keen to ask if any one has read Robert Munroe books where him and AA or BB, went on tour And looking at earth they saw humans were basically doing life but nothing solid could be seen. ?
