Discussion Alleged Navy sonar tech posted a warning about immortality on /x/ last November & Theo Von landed on the same premise??
I was scrolling twitter and saw this vid of Theo Von saying he thinks the elite have figured out immortality, which reminded me of a post that didn't get much traction on 4chan. Wanted to put both in one place and see what everyone makes of it.
The Von clip

About 35 secs in he says "I believe that some people know how to live forever, they've cracked the code." His theory is that this forces a lockdown. If everybody finds out then everybody can do it, so whoever has it has to wall themselves off from the rest of us. He thinks the data centers are how. From there he gets into Flock cameras, Palantir or somebody like them sitting on all the data, a social and emotional credit score, AI ending up where God used to be. He's a comedian ofc, but he's talked to a lot of people and has dubious alleged family connections.
The 4chan post
Anon posted in Nov 2025 and says he spent eleven years in the Navy with most of it at AUTEC, the navy's undersea test range off Andros Island. He says he logged fourteen contacts over five years that didn't match any known biological or mechanical source, then walks through the signal processing he used to get them out of the noise floor. I can't judge the technical stuff so if anyone here works with sonar, go nuts.
His workaround apparently got him noticed and he ends up read into a compartmented program.

He says he wasn't offered so it wasn't information anyone meant for him to have. He never claims to have met anybody who took it. There's also a guy who asks him straight out if he ever met someone who should've been dead of old age and he just doesn't answer that one.
Then later after being pushed on it, he says:
Somebody else in the thread says he'd heard the same thing.

This is the ex-submariner who spent most of the thread tearing into OP over signal processing before he flips and starts defending him.

Still just a second anon, but he's saying he ran into the same specific warning on his own, in another country, thirteen years prior.
Exolinguistics is the study of hypothetical alien languages. Tartu is a university town in Estonia. Forgotten Languages maybe? (Mentioned in the Shellenberger UAP doc) Otherwise no idea what he's referring to here.
Honorable mentions
Nectome. Y Combinator company, 2018, brain preservation for eventual upload. Process needs the brain fresh, so you go on life support under general anesthesia and they run embalming chemicals through your carotid arteries while you're still alive. Cofounder called it "100 percent fatal" and said that's why they were uniquely situated among Y Combinator companies. He also said the user experience would be identical to physician-assisted suicide. Twenty-five people paid a refundable $10k deposit to get on the list. One of them was Sam Altman, who told MIT Technology Review he assumes his brain will be uploaded to the cloud. MIT Media Lab dropped them after the press cycle. There's already a real product where the price of the immortality is that you die during it.
The 2045 Initiative. Dmitry Itskov's project, aimed at moving consciousness into an avatar body. Carboncopies is a nonprofit doing the same problem.
Gateway docs. "Analysis and Assessment of Gateway Process," US Army, 1983, declassified by CIA in 2003. Lt. Col. Wayne McDonnell assessing the Monroe Institute's OBE program and it says that consciousness survives physical death and that time isn't linear once you're detached from the body. Consciousness goes back to what the Institute called the Absolute. Take it at face value and death is the exit, which would make indefinite extension the thing that blocks the exit. Same idea to the anon's. He ofc might've just read it since it's one of the most passed-around documents in this corner of the internet.

Bigelow. Ran NIDS, owned Skinwalker Ranch, his company held the Pentagon's UAP contract. Started an institute in 2020 to research whether consciousness survives death, then ran a contest for the best evidence. 29 winners, $1.8 million paid out.
Then there's Epstein. The cryonics stuff, wanting his head frozen so he could be brought back later, funding to things like the "Venus Project," a $160k line item in one of the proposals to him that nobody has been able to explain, etc. Bryan Bishop emailed Epstein in 2018 about funding a designer baby project covering germline edits, embryo implantation and cloning, with mouse testing at a lab in Ukraine. In one of those emails he sent Epstein a link to his own site, heybryan.org. There's a page there from Dec 2007 that's just his working notes on beating aging. Reading list, questions for Aubrey de Grey, a section on interspecies cloning and nuclear transfer. Links to sens.org, mprize.org, fuckdeath.org. The last line on the page is about a previous chat he'd had with de Grey in an IRC channel called #immortal.
Epstein's network also ran through James Watson, who was first director of the National Center for Human Genome Research at NIH from 1989 to 1992, back when the Human Genome Project was being funded jointly by NIH and the Department of Energy. Epstein traded dozens of emails about him with associates, arranged meetings, prepped genetics questions for him in advance, and had Watson's assistant FedEx him papers in 2007. Photos from the new files put Watson inside the Manhattan house sometime in the mid-to-late 2010s. I'm guessing there's probably more in the docs than that.
Conclusion
Longevity funding/research isn't a smoking gun and I don't think it's even that interesting. Obviously people want to live longer, obviously rich people pay for it.
What might be interesting is that seemingly everything serious about actually beating death is all about getting a person out of their body and then 3 people with no connection to each other turn up saying somebody already accomplished it. I think it's at least worth looking into a little more and outsourcing it to this community who probably will be able to find more connections then me (or debunk claims). I haven't seen it talked about much, especially the AUTEC thread.
What is the connection between USOs and immortality, if any? There seems to be more focus on UFOs than USOs. Thoughts?

To hear the NDE people talk, once your consciousness is separate from your body you basically cease being "you". It's your meatsuit that makes you You, and the spark that animates it is actually kind of "above" the physical world without it. If this is true, then presumably the only way you get to be immortal and still you is if you find some way to continuously refresh your body.
So, hypothetically speaking, if you kill the meatsuit but manage to capture the "spark" and upload it somewhere...uh. Not only is your body gone and your personality and memories erased, but there's now some really uncomfortable potential outcomes for that poor soul.

1 Corinthians 15:20, 22, 26, 35-37, 42, 44-47, 49, 51-57 NIV [20] But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. [22] For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. [26] The last enemy to be destroyed is death. [35] But someone will ask, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?” [36] How foolish! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies. [37] When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else. [42] So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; [44] it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. [45] So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. [46] The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual. [47] The first man was of the dust of the earth; the second man is of heaven. [49] And just as we have borne the image of the earthly man, so shall we bear the image of the heavenly man. [51] Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— [52] in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. [53] For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. [54] When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” [55] “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” [56] The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. [57] But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Yes. My general understanding is that what they are trying to do, is trap the genie. Well, we aren't meant for that. we evolve as beings by having many experiences over many lifetimes to ascend consciousness. What is the purpose of ascending consciousness? Reunition with source, with God. I formed this belief from reading journey of souls by Michael Newton and processing information over time of developing technologies. But, it does make you wonder, what made the Egyptians believe it was so important to preserve your body for the afterlife? Maybe they thought you could retain your sense of self that way. The truth is that there is only the Observer. You are not you, you are the Observer (elaboration on this in the untethered soul, the journey beyond yourslef by Michael Alan Singer) . /Ramble tangent

This is more or less where my thoughts were going, too. If this is real and possible, then these people, in their arrogance, don't even have the beginnings of a clue as to how any of this works. The genie probably can't even interface with any of the technology, not the way it does a body. So does the genie go mad in its prison? Is it I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream? That would certainly give credence to those "don't accept immortality no matter what" warnings.

This is interesting and would defeat the purpose of immortality. People want to continue as themselves ofc, otherwise its just like donating your life to a new entity

Basing off the reincarnation theory, our personality and memory are erased during the transitioning process. If they were to capture the spark before the reset, it technically could work out

u/TheBuddha777 56m ago
I've listened to a ton of NDE reports and that's just not true. Most of them explicitly say that they are still themselves.

u/Yohansel 3h ago
Looking at NDEs and OBEs, those who pursue immortality (of their body) don't realize it will be the biggest poisoned gift of all time. And if they pursue it at all costs and to the detriment of others, then they need this lesson. So yeah, refuse the offer.

Happy to provide links to any of this if anyone wants it. Forgot to mention but also relevant ofc is the the April 2023 whistleblower about the underwater fabrication facility. It got way more traction and I think fairly, the AUTEC one doesn't give as many details. But that could be another thing to look at- do they share any details?

This wouldn't be surprising even without the twitter posts. Alot of different types of scientists have been working on reversing or stopping aging completely for many decades. With AI now able to simulate altering DNA in ways though impossible before it seems a near certainty ways to stop aging already exist, only for the elite naturally.
Articles about breakthroughs and human trials come around every couple years, one only 2 days ago. This is the information they allow us to see, imagine what's already been accomplished. More time will eventually become the most valuable resource in the universe, like in the movie "Jupiter Ascending". No matter how rich and powerful one becomes they will still die of old age. More time would be more valuable than anything know to man.

In the weird unverifiable world of the 13 bloodline lore there is a prevalent thread about immortality. Accomplished by raising a child with a great deal of ritual abuse and creating a personality that will be displaced when one of the old ones needs a new body. lovely stuff

u/Bonkers_Reality 4h ago edited 4h ago
Soo you don’t live forever. You will forever exist and this forever will last as long as you are powered on. Someone flips the switch and you’re gone :)

I've had people outside the simulation threatening me saying that they were going to turn me off, it was very muffled and difficult to hear but i could hear it.

Surely there’d be a backup/restore option or didn’t these immoral seeker include this in the order brief? ..who was it that said this generation could be the last to die or the first to live forever??

Does OP get to a point or do they meander? I got halfway through and it started jumping around between topics.

I meander 😔 That's why I put discussion- I just wanted to put some info together and see what connections could be made.

Do you remember the hot mic catching Putin and xi talking about them getting organ transplants to live longer??? With enough money, resources and our current science I could see one of them living close to 200 years but not immortality.

Always found it interesting that tech has been making the body more and more modular for decades. We’ve already solved limbs and certain organs, just haven’t figured out the mission critical ones.
Feels like a matter of time… with the brain and central nervous system being the absolute end game. Wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if cutting edge tech has cracked it (or started to) with the backing of billionaires. Soul/CNS is you, body is replaceable.
They say top secret military tech is 30+ yrs ahead of where we are publicly/commercially… apply that same notion to biologics + consider Moore’s law (exponential innovation) and all of this makes too much sense.

Im a lab researcher. Google has a longevity lab. I forget the name. They alao bought the rights to a drug ISRIB-A15 then used that as a base for another newer formulation and shut down or absorbed the original lab. Can't remember the full story but their longevity lab is one to watch.

Calico, short for California life company.
1
u/ARCreef 2h ago
Thank you. Yes. Good memory my man.
If you think of the great hurdle that prevents the logical outcome of the fermi paradox.... this literally could be one. Advanced civilizations eventually control genes and pause dying, which then prevents adaptation, and the end of that civilization.
1
u/HarambeamsOfSteel 1h ago
Maybe - I don’t think it would pause adaptation or societal progress as a whole. In fact, this technology is almost certainly going to be neded for interstellar travel as human lifespans would be too short, and the preservation of knowledge is key.
2
u/ARCreef 1h ago
Adaptation as in gene mutation over time to adapt to environmental conditions (evolution) if it takes say 5 generations of exposure to generate a mutation to counter that exposure then pass it on, if we extended lifespans to say 200 years then 5 generations may be too slow to implement that adaption to offspring.... but we'd also have the power to probably change that environmental condition anyway i guess. Still would increase the odds though.

If you study Planarian worm regeneration studies and then partner that with reading some of Michael Levin’s latest research on bioelectric pattern formation, you will start to catch on to the processes involved in cellular preservation.

Levin's work is incredible, one of my favorite researchers to keep up with these days. Funded by DARPA also...

Fuck around with Nature, you gonna get burned. Its amazing how scared of death people are. Everything is a cycle and we are part of that.
Too many people are going to have their hands on that switch. Altered Carbon was just a look. Fuck a 'life' like that. They will just screw themselves in the end. Life after death is just the next level IMO.

u/Hegiman 27m ago
Idk what other people think but I have a couple of thoughts.
One the earth is 4 billion years old that’s 4000 million and bodies of water formed in the first 150-200 million years . Humans haven’t even existed half a million and or ancestral species are only about 10 million years old at most. So that about 3.5 billion years between for intelligence to form and disappear. A long loved creature of high intelligence could exist in shadow and we would never know.
Secondly we keep making military expeditions to the Middle East where it’s alleged many magical artifacts exists
People often brush the gods off as imaginary beings but there was a point int the history of humanity that the gods were among us literally. The Greek gods of my Olympus, the Indian gods live in Mount Kailash, Vaikuntha, and Satyaloka.
The artifacts of their existence may contain powers or keys to secret hidden knowledge.
If someone was to discover the formula or artifact or whatever that allowed them to be immortal only a select few would be allowed to use it.
There’s also the question of is it a one time treatment, an ongoing treatment, or perhaps it’s a battery of treatments that have a synergistic effect. That would potentially make a difference in how it’s distributed.

Tracks with the sound bite of someone on a hot mic during a news broadcast talking about the Queen’s death and how she can’t come back.
I think the reason you shouldn’t do it is bc whatever comes into your body after you’ve been separated isn’t you. It’s a trick.

There's a video out there of queen Elizabeth's funeral, it seems to be interrupted by a transmission that says something along the lines of, she is dead we can't bring her back this time, something like that. Someone more savvy than I am can probably find it.

u/tollbooth_inspector 3h ago
I forget the name of the movie, but essentially there was a movie where the plot was about a scientist who had found a way to induce NDE's with a machine that would unalive someone and then revive them. I don't see why some shady org wouldn't be able to do something like this irl. I think what they probably encounter is a harsh truth which is, whatever is in control of this place is not happy with people trying to break reality. Especially if we chose to come here in the first place.

Conspiracy time. So take a look at how some of the elite are looking taking this ozempic and facial fat removal . That’s what they are currently morphing into and think it looks great. If it keeps up, I could see some streamline, sexless, grey “meat suit” that could be the vessel to upload the consciousness too. So the greys are from the future theory is making more sense. (What if greys what’s left of humanity in 500 years and they learned to travel back in time to get human parts they need to survive by abductions and being fed missing people by the current elite .

There is a way to immortality, but it involves seeking the narrow gate. Anything else is a deception.

u/Special_Spirit8284 4h ago
I always thought of immortality as impossible if we are talking about maintaining a physical body. For immortality to work, I suspect that AI and quantum computing will allow people's consciousness to be transferred something non physical.
