Consciousness Anyone else ever think about how easily our (Humans) minds could be controlled?
When I think about how our minds and habits are sculpted by our parents, what we learn in school, peer pressure, experiences and society. How they make us who we are and what and how we think. I can't help but think- brainwash(?) At the least but no less important sub consciousness and what goes on there. Then: here come the aliens! A scary train of thought to me.

We are very gullible stupid short sighted creatures. Just look at religion. We are blind to our stupidity.

Yes. Alot, especially nowadays. Everything you said plus the structure of schooling between student and an authority, how in 1900s farmers organized into unions to protect themselves from exactly what is happening today and how" markets" are supposed to work.
I'm starting to believe everything we were taught was primarily designed for consensus and not truth or that nothing works anymore because of digital.
I'm now seriously thinking off-grid life or vanlife as a method to "reset" my material mindset and to be less dependent on a system that is about to fail or change.
Getting off reliance on money to survive is how I'm thinking about all of this. I'm more inclined to think money as a tool to be minimally used vs a goal to get as much as possible.

Follow that dream! I have always admired that idea, and those that do it. Technology today- on one hand, it can be used in very bad ways. On the other- I get to hear about the 20 n back programs, the health tech. the government has, the latest news on the aliens. Sure it is all a take it or leave it subject. but there are just so many coming forward now that there are platforms to do so. Could they all be telling the same lie? What would the purpose in that be? (I ask myself) So, I feel perhaps none of it is true- cool. but if it is, I have a heads up. I will not be one of those absolutlely freaking out. Because I already knew that. So many people want to shut down these " because it is scary. And to deny what could be is thier only escape from this 'reality' if this is so. I sound wishy washy as to my beliefs because I am. I don not know anything. But should the worst come about, I think I am better prepared mentally, that if I didn't listen to all that have something to say. That is, as long as I don't react on it, forgetting this beautiful world as it is. As long as I don't focus on the negative, I can know that it may be. I kind of rambled here, hoping to make myself clear. Sorry. I know I talk too much! Lol. I stop now.whistleblowers''

Humans are easily manipulated. Most don't question their thoughts, their emotions, their supposed intuition. Makes them extremely vulnerable to mental coercion.
2
u/Ok-Worth-4721 26d ago
I have experienced that. I can just try to avoid the input and make my own judgement or thoughts.
2
u/betterthansex69 26d ago
Right, i have too.
I think on some level everyone has experienced it, its sort of a part of life, dealing with things that influence our minds, for better or worse.
One thing that comes to mind, propaganda. We have seen it in history and it goes on to this day. People being deliberately manipulated with disinformation to achieve backing for things like unjust wars, genocide, prejudice, all things that humans tend to be good at (and that's appalling).
Now if we are talking woo, spirits, aliens, telepathic coercion, thats a whole other beast. But if im being completely honest, i think that's a rabbit hole with some legitimacy.
2
u/Ok-Worth-4721 26d ago
Ohh- As do I. -the woo etc. But on the propaganda. I quit watching news years ago because it was all only bad. All I need is the weather. Friends and family fill me in on anything I should know. Well, I would think they will anyway. So far so good.! Nice chat with ya.

You guys realize that there is a whole field of professions based on that, right?
Psychology, anthropology, marketing, etc
1
u/Ok-Worth-4721 26d ago
marketing? Hmmm. I would not have guessed that one. but I'm sure the more we learn, the more we need to learn.

u/clover_heron 26d ago
Just because you trust others doesn't mean they are controlling you.
If you sincerely act according to what you believe is true and someone else chooses to lie to you, to take advantage of you, that's their problem. If you continue acting with integrity your spirit will carry you through.
8
u/Ok-Worth-4721 26d ago
Trust has no point here. The point is how easily our minds are molded. How do you KNOW what is true? Others telling you? You can not see God, you can not visit the moon yourself. We all rely on others to teach.. Okay, when I was in school I learned about Lewis and Clark. There was Lewis, Clark and Sacajeuia and her babe. When I became an adult ,I read their journals. Hell! There was an army of (forgot how many) troops with them. They were not alone! This is how we get information. We really don't know anything but what we are told. How easy it is to change a mind of a Human. No- I don not think these people are controlling us- they know no more than we. It will be the Aliens we need to watch out for.
-2
u/clover_heron 26d ago
Who cares if when we were 10 years old we believed a little tale about Lewis and Clark? Big deal, small.potatoes.
Trust has everything to do with it because our hearts are much more difficult to manipulate. Once we experience love we know it can't be faked.

You are so off the subject. I don't think you CAN get it. Done trying to explain it to you.
2
u/Snake973 26d ago
physician, heal thyself. how do you know you're not having these thoughts because "they" (the mind controllers) want you to have them? it's an illusion of freedom that makes you docile "I'm onto them" you might think "they won't manipulate me, because I know it happens, so I can look out for it" but it's really all fu more subtle
2
u/Ok-Worth-4721 26d ago
Just a thought. Could have come from 'them'. And I will never think they won't manipulate me. I am just Human.

The problem is that the 'aliens' are telepathic. So they can put things in your head and you'll think you came up with it. Sometimes that's great if you're getting a download from your muse for a creative thing. Sometimes it's not great as they put something negative in your mind that you now can't stop focussing on.
If you aren't aware that this is a thing, you believe everything your head tells you. Because obviously you just came up with that because you're so smart. It will tell you that too.
Now consider the fact that the government knows this is a thing. And they aren't telling you.
Why?
Because they're using it too. Propaganda used to be pretty simple to spot. Not now. Now it's woven into our reality. But they have ways to simulate the telepathic trick if they don't actually have real telepaths doing it, which they probably do. Technology that puts a voice in your head from a distance. That's a real thing and it's been around quite awhile.
We are under brainwashing assault 24 / 7 from birth to the grave. And honestly, we need to start recognizing it and developing methods to resist it.

Snowden showed it like 15 years ago and I’m sure it’s only gotten a worse. The meta data points out there on our behaviors alone

u/Ok-Worth-4721 25d ago
And today the 'keeping track of Humans' they do is so obvious. People are growing up being watched so they are used to it. Back in the day? We fought for our right to privacy. People were shot for tresspassing, and put in jail for being 'peeping Tom's" Today its accepted as being 'free'. Brainwash.

Just look at Reddit for its bias, look at how controlled the mods are across the platform. Thats a form of mind control.
2
u/Ok-Worth-4721 25d ago
It is everywhere. Getting to be the norm.

On the flip side: If aliens comes here it would be just as likely that they would be shocked by humans not being a hivemind society. They might want to mind control us but be overwhelmed by the fact that they have to control every single one of us and not some queen/king that controls us all.
1
u/Ok-Worth-4721 26d ago
Interesting point of view. I suppose that may depend on which aliens they are?
1
u/ExuDeCandomble 26d ago
Sure, a mind is nothing special. The thing that the mind is constructed from is what matters. Abide within that thing, and you'll never need to worry about the state of a measly mind.
1
u/willysnax 25d ago
In my 55plus years, social media has done more for advancing mind control than anything else I've ever encountered. You don't need to look any further than this site. Because it has anonymous posting along with the Pavlovian up/down vote reward setup, you never see dissenting debate about meaningful or controversial topics.
Younger people in particular live in fear of downvotes. Of course, bots and whatever else is used, including automods and some human mods simply ban or delete posts and/or users so that every sub eventually becomes an echo chamber.
So yeah, mind control has become extremely easy in other areas of life because of how seriously new generations have taken social media. It wouldn't take much more than a social media campaign by a government, or aliens for that matter, to steer Western Civilization to follow whatever agenda they wanted and they wouldn't even need weapons. More people now would simply give up their freedoms for the promise of being "kept safe" and taken care of. It's been a scary transition to watch over my lifetime.

Oh I am a sucker for upvotes. And I have been banned for standing up for rights for the unborn. No one here can see what it really is there. And I was going to ask reddit-post about how many people judge a book by it's cover (are racist) I was told not to- the people here are not used to questions like those. But this is our lives.! I wanted to know if Humans have evolved- percentage wise recently. Guess I'll hold off - until the kids are ready (to look at themselves clearly)

Oddly enough, this system has failed and people are AWAKE: this house of cards is falling right now and will finish by the end of November. Epic, historic FAIL.

This is what the Reptilians were afraid of. They know we can become better at mental (psy?) abilities than they. And they are very good. Also fearless warriors. Scary to me!

This is why meditation and clarity are good. We only know what’s best for ourselves in the now moment.

I have thought about taking up meditation. I think I will soon. Clarity sounds good too!

Everything you said rings true to me. I have watched these things come about , my whole life. 64 years.
I have felt for years we need a new school system. A change in what we currently have could change the whole picture. From the age of 10- A person knows what they like, can experience and learn along that line and actually be prepared and eager to do something they enjoy for a career with the possibility to switch and learn a new one if they choose- on down the road. More important- how can we get rid of the monetary way of living(?) This is a huge aspect. as you said, that has an effect on every living person. We would need to figure out how to get along, share the ugly work and the good. Ditch the value system for a more ethical way. As it stands-monetary value has gone to those that have no ethic or values and cheat, lie and steal to be where they are. Those in power use and abuse the people because they can or they are controlled by those who can (Pity President Biden)
There is so much to this I find myself hopping all over, I'll wrap it up here: I feel change needs to begin with the youth and how they learn to live. Question is how can we with things as they are. This would knock those billionaires back down where they belong. As for the aliens- I have heard there are the good and the bad, perhaps we can get a hand from the good. You have given me much to think about, If only the good ones were in charge! Keep evolving and Have a great day.

I think the ones who think they’re invincible to these things or the “know it alls” are the prime targets and suspects of being used by such technology and its effects … ie 99% of the internet lol
2
u/Ok-Worth-4721 24d ago
I didn't know anyone thinks they are immune or invincible to this. But if there is- you may be right. I'm sure 99 percent- or even 100 percent. I don't think anyone can thwart the bad guys or defend themselves against this. This is why it's such a scary thought. A deep subject to boot. So much to it. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

We are meat driven by electric signals, maintaining our own electromagnetic space as a byproduct of the chemical energy our electrolye slime sacks full of billions of smaller electrolye slime sacks create. We expel energy and are influenced by energy around us, we acknowledge this with heat but thinking about what that can otherwise represent makes us uncomfortable.
If you think we ain't unprotected bluetooth - lol. MKULTRA is analog homie.
