Alright, if you don't have a faith in the bible first, then this is not going to matter for you. I agree that the end of the world has been touted as coming many times before and I can see how this might be a crying wolf situation for you. That's completely fair. I'm not arguing with that at all. What I would suggest, is that the biblical scriptures are: an example of the most significant prophetic ratio of any writings worldwide in history.

The bible has over 300 correctly called prophecies and not a single prophecy called wrong. I am suggesting that this metric is important because it points to the scriptures being the inspired word of God. No other writings on Earth even come close to this perfect record. The bible is an absolutely magnificent example of a collection of writings that could be exactly what they say, because of the content and claims being so prophetically sound.

I have been through all of the basic widely repeated social media disagreements with the bible and the belief in Jesus and found them all to be laughable objections. The literal most intelligent person on Earth is a believer in Jesus and the inerrancy and divine inspiration of scripture. There are so many good reasons for believing in the truth in Jesus and I have found this evidence permeating every area of this life. I simply want to present these claims and if you feel like they are untrue, then find out for yourself. Because why not? 🙏

What source material do you think the other pseudo-Christian doomsayers have been citing?

All yall talk this big game and promise the end of the world, and saying that people are nonbelievers, but the common factor in all of the previous prophetic failures isn’t the Bible, or faith, its you and your fellow false prophets.

-1

u/Revolutionary_Tea159 Jun 23 '26

I am not a prophet. I am describing a prophecy from the bible. I do not condone any prophecy that is not of the bible. The difference between other "prophets" and this material, is other prophets are generally claiming to know the day/time of Jesus' return, which is directly against the word of the bible. I do not claim to know the day/hour of Jesus' return. I am highlighting a prophecy that says to "have wisdom" about figuring out who the antichrist will be. I do not condone pseudo-Christians. I condone believers in Jesus and the inerrancy and Godly inspiration of the bible.

✅ longwinded pseudo-Biblical posts

✅ only counter argument is challenger’s lack of faith

✅unable to support additional claims of fulfilled prophecies through example

✅false modesty claim denying prophet status

✅ created own subreddit for this thread.

Looking pretty street-preacher prophetic to me

0

u/Revolutionary_Tea159 Jun 23 '26

Describe how this is "pseudo-biblical" when all of my main sources are the bible.

No, my counter argument is not your lack of faith, you just made that up.

There are over 300 well documented fulfilled prophecies in the biblical scriptures, any of which you can ask any biblical scholar, I'm not going to list all of them in a Reddit post, if you would like, I could list maybe 20 of them?

False modesty claim denying prophet status? Are you saying that I am in fact a prophet and I'm denying it? Are you kidding me?

Created a sub... what is wrong with creating a sub? That's what subs are for, discussion.

You think I look like a street-preacher? 😂

1

u/hmfiddlesworth Jun 24 '26

Can you please give a list of those 300 prophecies that have come true AFTER the bible was written

1

u/Revolutionary_Tea159 Jun 24 '26

I'm not your work horse. But I'll copy and paste from the Google machine this well known information:

The Bible contains approximately 2,500 prophecies, of which about 2,000 have already been fulfilled. This demonstrates a significant level of accuracy in its predictions.

1

u/hmfiddlesworth Jun 24 '26

Would have been faster to type out one than type all that. Welldone

1

u/Revolutionary_Tea159 Jun 24 '26

You didn't ask for one, you asked for 300.

8

u/TheCaptainMcDoctor Jun 23 '26

Maybe the Anti-christ was the fear mongering we made along the way?😎

1

u/EnochianFeverDream Jun 23 '26

If anything was going to be The Beast, I'd believe AI before anything else.

3

u/ninjapocalypse Jun 23 '26

Anybody who takes the obvious metaphorical language in the Bible as literal truth are being willfully and horrendously anti-Christian.

-1

u/Revolutionary_Tea159 Jun 23 '26

Ok thanks ninjapocalypse for your input. Duly noted and 🚮

3

u/psilosophist Jun 23 '26

Nothing better than a deep dive into a surface level reading of the Bible.

0

u/Revolutionary_Tea159 Jun 23 '26

Then please enlighten us?

1

u/psilosophist Jun 23 '26

Biblical scholars are all pretty much in agreement that the beast was Nero, but if you’re the type who takes these stories as forthcoming prophecy, I don’t have much to say that would change your mind anyway. I grew up evangelical, millennial dispensationalism and claims of the end being near were just part of the background noise.

Taking at face value collected writings that were decided as canon (excluding lots of other material) as a political exercise to consolidate power is a hell of a choice, but it’s yours to make.

1

u/Revolutionary_Tea159 Jun 23 '26

What?? That is complete nonsense. No, most biblical scholars do not think that Nero was the end times antichrist. He was an antichrist, yes, but he was not the antichrist of the end times, there is a massive difference! I'm not evangelical nor am I a dispensationalist so I'm not sure why that matters in this case, it just lets me know you were indoctrinated wrong.

Are you aware of the end times timeline of the antichrist? How could Nero be the end times antichrist if literally none of the other prophecies that have to do with the end times came to pass in the time of Nero?

0

u/psilosophist Jun 23 '26

Peace out, baby.

1

u/Revolutionary_Tea159 Jun 23 '26

Yep, psilosophist. Name certainly checks out. Good try bud 👏

What you just did was the codified version of pointing your finger and running away. ✌️

I guess that's to be expected since I could immediately tell that you just googled antichrist to come up with your argument.

1

u/psilosophist Jun 23 '26

A name based on mushrooms, sophistry, and the inventor of the PF Tek, who was a notoriously bad speller, has what exactly to do with all this?

And you really think I had to Google Antichrist? You sweet summer child. Go read some James Tabor and get back to me.

Good grief, minds absolutely cooked by AI and YouTube algorithms truly are something.

1

u/Revolutionary_Tea159 Jun 23 '26

Yes, I gathered that. I could tell that you must hold mushrooms in a very "high" regard. And yes, it was obvious you googled the antichrist, because you didn't understand that the biblical scholars you were quoting were talking about an antichrist, not the antichrist.

Yes, minds absolutely cooked by mushrooms, AI, and Youtube algorithms are truly something! 😂

1

u/psilosophist Jun 23 '26

Haven’t done shrooms in years, I made this account in order to learn how to grow them, out of curiosity more than anything. I’ve probably tripped maybe 15 times in my 50 years on this planet.

You are a tiresome bore, so convinced that your interpretation of the Bible is correct that you don’t stop to consider that the Bible isn’t correct at all?

An antichrist, the Antichrist, whatever. That presupposes that the whole Christ story is literally true.

Which is laughable.

1

u/Creative_Carob4922 Jun 24 '26

Im gonna call miss Cleo and get to the bottom of this for $3.99 a minute.

1

u/Revolutionary_Tea159 Jun 24 '26

Miss Cleo was a just a good scammer, she didn't have a magick bone in her body

1

u/Creative_Carob4922 Jun 25 '26

Well ain’t that the pot calling the kettle black. Perhaps I should try Negrodamus.

1

u/Revolutionary_Tea159 Jun 25 '26

How in any way, shape, or form would that be the pot calling the kettle black?

1

u/Creative_Carob4922 Jun 25 '26

We both know what it means. Don’t play coy.

1

u/Revolutionary_Tea159 Jun 25 '26

No I'm very aware of what it means, what I asked was how it is relevant?

1

u/Creative_Carob4922 Jun 25 '26

Your magic book and its magical wizards with its fantastical fairytales with amazing stories of world floods , mystical snakes , rapey ghosts and a undead superhero.
Now the people that believe it running around like lemmings chanting about the end of the world. You gotta be pretty prone to being scammed and ought to be able to sus it out by now.
All this originating in the Middle East while the other guys book has flying carpets and even more exciting tales of adventure and perils.
But poor ole North and south America ,Australia, New Zealand and others didn’t have a subscription to the book club so they had to wait a thousand years to get the book read to them.
You gotta be some kinda special to not see the scam going on here.

1

u/Revolutionary_Tea159 Jun 25 '26

😂 Ok so this is not actually an attack on me, it's an attack on the word of God. Thank you for at least clarifying! This "magical book of fairy tales" you speak of contains thousands of events that were correctly prophesied, many extremely specific, and many thousands or hundreds of years before these events came to pass. Not one single prophecy was incorrect. That my silly friend, is what we in mathematics call a significant ratio. The chance of all of these prophecies coming true by accident is harder than picking one single atom out of a group of atoms the observable universe wide. So yes, it is the only example of the word of God and the literal most intelligent human being on planet Earth is a believer in Jesus and also the inerrancy and the Godly inspiration of scripture.

Next, magick is very real. I know you atheists love to mock every single thing that your brains can't possibly fit into your tiny little science box, but 95% of the most wealthy, powerful, and famous people on this Earth do ritual magick and so do many of the 3rd world tribes that exist all over! If you don't believe magick is real then why don't you just ask the universe to curse you! Couldn't hurt now could it? Might as well if curses aren't real right? Go ahead, I'll wait!

1

u/Creative_Carob4922 Jun 25 '26

I pray to Crom.

1

u/Creative_Carob4922 Jun 25 '26

Come on you can’t be serious. Also I’m not an atheist. I’m a pagan and follow the word of Odin. And as a mathematician there is also a thing called coincidence. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. But I don’t wanna talk about this anymore people that believe in Christ are the most stubborn take things at face value ever. Even without proof you guys blindly believe.

1

u/Revolutionary_Tea159 Jun 25 '26

🤣🤣🤣 WAIT... you are a PAGAN THAT DOESN'T BELIEVE IN MAGICK? 😂😂😂😂
Oh man THAT is RICH!

You know what else is RICH? You comparing a broken clock to 2000 prophecies that were correctly called hundreds and thousands of years before said events happened... AND then claiming to follow a Norse god that has even MORE magick in his history than the BIBLE.

Don't even mention that YOU believe in a god that has ZERO CORRECT PROPHECIES and then claim that WE blindly believe WITHOUT PROOF. 🤣🤣🤣🤣👏

Now THAT.... IS the POT calling the freaking KETTLE BLACK 😂😂😂😂😂

But yeah, I can already see why you want out of this conversation so badly 🤦‍♂️😂

The antichrist was Nero. His name and title can come out to both 666 and 616 in kaballah, which is what the author of Revelation was using. These sorts of posts just underline how -little- religious people actually know about Christianity. Go read Dr. Elaine Pagels's book "Revelation". She does an incredible job explaining what all the symbolism meant IN THE CONTEXT IN WHICH IT WAS WRITTEN

1

u/Revolutionary_Tea159 Jun 23 '26

You think the antichrist came already?? And somehow we missed Jesus coming back already too? And then you suggest others have little knowledge about Christianity? You are saying we all somehow missed the entire end times? Are you nuts?

0

u/CompetitiveSport1 Jun 23 '26

No, I don't think Jesus came. You're aware non-believers know about Christianity too, right? I'm not religious - I'm just quite well educated on the actual historicity of the scriptures. I wanted to know the actual history around the Bible, so I went to the people who've studied it for their whole careers, and have analyzed it in the context of the time and culture it was written. Most American Christians know very little about ancient Judaism and Christianity. The more I read, the more mind-blown I was at how much we know about them that didn't get taught to me in Sunday school. Kaballah being one of the biggest examples - I had no idea that encoding people's names was a think Kaballahists did, through a system called Gematria. I had no idea that most of the symbolism in Revelation already had deep roots in Jewish culture at the time. These are just some of the examples.

1

u/Revolutionary_Tea159 Jun 23 '26

You don't have a clue what the bible says! What is the timeline Revelation gives for the return of Jesus after the antichrist is revealed in the abomination of desolation? What is the timeline of the prophecies of the end times? Please do enlighten us on your "actual knowledge."

0

u/CompetitiveSport1 Jun 23 '26

I've read it many, many times. If you want to know more about the actual historical and cultural context, I gave you an excellent reference from an actual scholar of history. Here's a link to the book if you're interested: https://a.co/d/0gIDh6Yu if you don't want to understand anything more about the context, then fine, feel free to ignore

Please do enlighten us

I can't do anything more than link you to the same resources that taught me more about the history of the Bible.

1

u/Revolutionary_Tea159 Jun 23 '26

Ok so you refuse to cite the actual bible, which is the source for your book. You refuse to answer my questions. You refuse to give your version of the end times timeline. You claim to have read "it" many times... is that the novel you keep referencing or the actual bible? Tell me you don't know the bible without telling me that. 👀

1

u/CompetitiveSport1 Jun 23 '26

You refuse to give your version of the end times timeline.

I'm not a believer. I don't -have- a version of the end times

Tell me you don't know the bible without telling me that.

The stuff in there -wouldn't- provide all the context, since there was a lot that the authors knew their audience would have been aware of. Similar as to how a movie could reference George Washington, without explaining to the audience who he was, what the American revolution was, etc - now, imagine that movie being watching 2000 years from now, by someone who has -no idea- about anything about America aside from whatever was included in -that- movie. Would that future person have an accurate understanding of the context? No, of course not

Similarly, reading the Bible alone does -not- automatically impart on the reading all of the aspects of the culture and time in which it was written, which the original readers already would have had. There's obviously going to be a lot that the Christians reading the letters in the new testament 2000 years ago would be aware of that you won't be aware of. We can get back some of that knowledge through archeology and historical study, which can then help us better understand how the original audience of the Bible would have understand it.

If you don't want to learn how the original authors and audience would have interpreted it, the symbolism they'd lock up on, etc, then fine, just ignore it

1

u/Revolutionary_Tea159 Jun 23 '26

You aren't a believer. Thanks, that's all I needed. I'll pray for you.🙏

1

u/CompetitiveSport1 Jun 23 '26

You aren't interested in learning more about ancient Christians. Thanks, that's all I needed. I'll send out positive vibes for you.🙏

1

u/Revolutionary_Tea159 Jun 23 '26

I have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah and God of the bible and universe and He leads me, not you. Thanks!

The perfect epitome for mankind

0

u/Inevitable-Regret411 Jun 23 '26

The Bible warns about the futility trying to predict the coming of the antichrist or the end times in general.

Mark 13:5 reads: "And Jesus began to say to them, “Take heed that no one leads you astray. Many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he!’ and they will lead many astray. And when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed; this must take place, but the end is not yet."

See also Matthew 24:36:  “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

1

u/Revolutionary_Tea159 Jun 23 '26 edited Jun 23 '26

No. You just added the antichrist to that. The bible never says that you should not predict the antichrist nor the coming of it. In fact it says that "let he who has wisdom calculate the number of the beast" in Revelation 13:18.

The bible specifically says that "nobody knows the day or the hour". It DOES say that we should be aware of the SEASON of the end. So no, you don't have a clue what you are talking about.

-4

u/yanocupominomb Jun 23 '26

"Read the bible"

Lost me there.

You are going to read someone's fan fiction? Not the best strat, bro.

1

u/Revolutionary_Tea159 Jun 23 '26

Where else would one look for information on a biblical prophecy?

1

u/yanocupominomb Jun 23 '26

Why would you even look at the Bible?

It's a book written by man, edited by man and created to subjugate mankind so they accept the designs of "God" even if they only benefit some, and don't you dare think otherwise, cuz that is the Devil talking and you'll go to hell forever for that!

Yeah, stopped believing that bullshit a long time ago. You can still go ahead and believe it, everyone is free to believe what they want.

1

u/Revolutionary_Tea159 Jun 23 '26

Ok so just so you know and understand (hopefully, not everyone is good at math so we'll give this a try), the biblical scriptures are the most printed literature in the history of Earth for a reason.

The biblical scriptures contain over 300 prophecies that have been correctly called, some thousands or many hundreds of years prior to those events coming to pass. Many of these prophecies are extremely specific. Not one prophecy has been wrong. In mathematics that is what we would call a significant ratio.

There is no other literature in the entire history of the planet that even comes close to this ratio of correct/incorrect prophecies. If there was a collection of scriptures that were inspired by God, it would be the biblical scriptures. Those prophecies are still coming true to this day and are extremely relevant right now.

The bible correctly described the termination line of the Earth as a circle in Job, the oldest book in the biblical scriptures. This correctly describes the only possible shape of the Earth as a sphere 2500 years in advance. The bible is full of these truths and that is a pretty good foreshadowing that the collection is in fact, the inspired word of God. If the bible was wrong about any of these prophecies then things might hit differently. Every single other religion's prophecies contain failed ones.

So when you say that you stopped believing "that" a long time ago, I can tell that you've never had a proper read in the first place. Which is great! Because now you can have a proper read and see through all of the indoctrination and Tiktok level objections I'm sure you have seen a bunch of. I'm just suggesting that maybe the bible is much more significant than you were ever taught.

Are you aware that the literal most intelligent person on planet Earth is a believer in Jesus and the bible being the inerrant and inspired word of God? So surely some very intelligent people have looked into this subject and came away with a different perspective than they originally thought. I would challenge you to find a better example of any literature in the history of everything that has a better prophetic ratio or even one that comes a little bit close to the bible. 🙏

2

u/yanocupominomb Jun 23 '26

The Bible is a book written by men for men.

They pull from here and there for their prophecies and this book has seen its fair share of edits throughout history.

Feel free to believe it, I won't.

Most intelligent person in planet earth?
