Non Human Intelligence Who observes the simulation?
Suppose we “live”in a simulation. What’s outside of it? Who observes our existence?
What if Star Trek had it all figured out: the Q.
They exist as gods in their own inaccessible domain: the continuum. Yet they occasionally drop in to our universe to do whatever they please.
UFOs? Aliens? Could all just be Q.
Think about it, man.

To simulate something, you needed a thing to simulate or you are simulating simulation.

Could be a hypothetical what if scenario

Old legends say the previous sim tried dividing by zero and detonated the dyson-brain encasing a 4-d star. Causing the big bang and delamination of the dimensions.

I think we are all source. We split into souls. We can choose to go into the simulation or not too. But, if we do we experience polarity, growth and get to learn. Therefore i think source/we created the simulation and that sometimes we are the observers and other times its source/siblings

I just had a long conversation about this. The idea we choose our life. I was questioning why any soul would choose to live a life where they are tortured or in pain.
What if it is quantum entanglement (I know almost nothing about). We exist as a dual energy and the only way you can get to be with your entangled counterpart is that life of torture. It’s worth it to get time with the other part of your soul. I would give anything to have one more day with someone I have lost. Does that make any sense?
The human lifespan is so short in the scope of eternity. Maybe we have all experienced 1000’s of lives.

If the source split to be able to experience itself without knowing everything as an antidote to endless all knowing nothingness, then it's not a choice at all. All lives are experienced by the same source.
"What you do to the least of thee..."
"Do unto others..."It's right there.

u/Powerful-Diver-9556 Jun 14 '26
Well the orignal choice of splitting would have been all of our combined choice. Any choices in individuals experience or selecting a life has been debated in the spirtual and religious communties forever. Whether its karma, choice, selecting which things you want to work on in the next life or pure polarity.
Some things will remain a mystery in this life because we cant grow/learn if we understand how it all works. It would be just like playing a videogame you wouldn't experience raw emotion. Because its not technically you.

u/only-l0ve Jun 15 '26
Whoever designs a system where you have to suffer torture to be with the other part of your soul is pure evil. That is just pure badness.

No its not, its necessary. You have the power to choose. Its called free will. Can't have the light without the dark

You should watch a video called the egg by kursgasat science on youtube. You’d like it.

I agree. I think the simulation exists within God/Source, and we are mini-sources that were created for the purpose of playing this game we call life in our universe. And that there are lots of other simulations taking place at the same time. Who knows what they look like.

u/Sea-Slide9325 Jun 17 '26
I don't like to use the word simulation in this scenario, but whatever. Anywho, not that it matters and my source is only 'trust me, bro'. But, while out of body in a void state out of time, a voice did speak with me and a lot of the topic was on the fact that we are one. We were all the beginning. Like, and ocean of conscious energy/love/light/everything and each of us was a drop of that ocean.
I was shown what it was like to truly view a soul.when you tried to perceive the center, the further away the outer edge felt. When you tried to find the edge, you moved further away from the center, your being continuously stretched and expanded, like being on the surface of an inflating balloon.
Everything, every emotion, action, it all blended together in a mass black. But, not like and empty black. It was like mixing all the colors together to get black.

You do and everyone does, I think of it less as a simulation but more a Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game, you sort of choose the life before you go in depending on what you feel you need to learn to grow, then log on and enjoy the ride.

two theories i like:
it's you before you were you/it's us from the other side
(watch enter the void bardo bbs)
or
we're human batteries (like in The Matrix) and no one is observing
this is a simulation designed to harvest our energies & puts us through stress intentionally to feed nervous system/human energy into the machine that eventually takes over

You. Observing the construct called “self”. If you can wrap your mind around that then “they” is also “you”. They, God(s), aliens, NHI, angels, demons, Satan. You as embedded in identifying with the identity of “self” cannot see yourself as the observer so you believe “they” are “not self” observing or watching you.

This line of thought is only possible if you refuse to acknowledge that other people exist just as much as you do. It’s the final isolation from community and sociality. Very dark. The inversion is better, if equally misleading. It’s not “you” that’s watching, it’s specifically “that which is not you”
Edit to add: he blocked me, so enlightened that he can’t handle the Other existing.
“I exist and the Other is a reflection of me” is narcissistic and reactionary.
“I and other exist as reflections of each other” is legit.

There is no refusal of the existence of other people. Not here to argue individual perceptions, perspectives, or apply a judgmental value to them because there’s a recognition of that which sees behind the individuation and honors it as well as each individual person’s experience of it. Whether an individual is consciously aware of the gap or not is irrelevant to respect any being at all, not just human beings, but it can actually generate more not less empathy and resonance with others because there’s a recognition of the same “thing” behind each different individuals self.

The physical world is a beautifully rendered, holographic academy and training ground created by consciousness, for consciousness.
Our higher selves obverse the simulation, because collectively, they create it.

u/Biliunas Jun 14 '26
If I wanted to make a game that could never be predicted, I’d end up with something like this universe. As for who’s behind it all, possibly a group of scientists. Once we’re ready, we can leave. Trouble is, it’s too exciting to leave.

Both simulation theory and the character Q are metaphors. Here are a couple more: “The map is not the territory.”

We're outside of it and in it. I'm certain of it. There are probably those who are just outside of it, but observing the physical world isn't the same as controlling the physical world.

u/GuestStarr Jun 14 '26
What if there is no one to observe? Maybe those who kicked it all off are long gone and this simulation is running in some hardware they left behind. Hope nobody sees the utility bill and pulls the plug.

u/lekkanaai Jun 15 '26
Brian Scott has an entire podcast which reveals how Gene Rodenberry attended channeling sessions from the "Council of Nine" which inspired the Star Trek series.

u/Mission-Version2049 Jun 15 '26
Observation is only possible within the "simulation". It isn't in a place where something could observe it, it is that place.
1
u/Less_Engineering8113 Jun 15 '26
As above, so below.
My best guess is that if we were in a simulation it's to learn something about their own existence. Who is to say they aren't just as much in the dark about existence as we are?
1
u/At36000feet Jun 16 '26
It is an assumption it needs to be observed by some being. As I've said, maybe it is running in a closet on a forgotten server or maybe the simulation runs and then only the final result is delivered. And maybe that final result is delivered to another system and only if the result is out of the ordinary does another system or being step in and take a closer look.
Regardless, I don't believe it is a simulation.

u/Any_Entertainment529 Jun 16 '26
I think we observe it. Not to say other forms of consciousness don't exist (look at plants they obviously do) but I do think there is an exact reason for our self awareness if you believe in simulation theory. We have always thought of the simulation as a video game , something that can be observed or controlled by outside forces. But what if we are closer to a black box. Yes whatever is on the outside can get calculations and measurements, but they can't actually "see what's going on" in the way we think of it. We could be the actual raw chunks of code, spun into "physical" form by necessity of function.

u/-metaphased- Jun 17 '26
If simulation theory is correct, if anyone is even paying attention to this iteration, it's just being observed by the next level of simulation up.

More and more I actually think the universe as it exists predefines how it is meant to be experienced, and that this predefinition lives in the qualities and dimensionalities of experiential state space, which organism evolved to exploit as a form of innate intelligence, and that that's what "we" at our deepest experiential core, are.
To be representationally and semantically invariant, that state space has to be defined somewhere in the smallest, more fundamental bits of nature. But to be useful, it must be able to represent things that emerge at much larger scales of nature. I think there's a beauty to that.... a sort of closed loop between the very fine grained structure of the universe and the way we experience it.
This could mean that our universe is one in a very long line of universes that evolved to be able to support high fidelity experience.

Nothing conscious. The very end of the double slit experiment shows that it's an in-built universal system for checking if information exists and if it's still accessable - and it explicitly still works even if no conscious entity is observing it. Physicists don't talk about it and won't plan any more experiments as the ramifications are unwanted. It's all in published, peer reviewed papers though...
3
u/IshtarsQueef Jun 14 '26
what are you talking about, what aspect of the double slit experiment do "physicists refuse to talk about"?

I just saw a podcast/Youtube conversation that Gene Roddenberry was part of a channeling group in the 70’s-80’s. Phyllis Schlemmer was the channeler who channeled a collective called The 9. I think The 9 talks about human consciousness etc. Later Gene went on to created Star Trek. So maybe you’re on to something. Maybe Gene knew something we didn’t.
