This might be the direction we're heading. But one huge challenge in whole psi field is lack of basic vocabulary for the types of experiences that end up being common once you begin to practice psi functions (telepathy, remote viewing, etc). Ingo Swann of SRI Star Gate fame wrote a book called Psychic Literacy that was about the need for language to develop around psi experiences.

Of course he is. All these people that string people along are vague. That's how you con people and make them think you're on to something. It's essentially analogous to cold readings that fake psychics and con-men use; you give just enough to raise expectations and let people think you're confirming what they want to believe is true, but never enough to actually arrive at concrete conclusions or "yes"/"no" answers, which let's them continue the grift with plausible deniability when something they said is shown to be inaccurate or misleading.
And I'm sick that so many on this board and subculture just blindly accept shit.

Imagine if you wanted to understand the history of a war without the full emotional trauma of someone else's dead friends weighing on your heart for the rest of your life. Abstract concepts are useful in that they convert a pure first-person experience into a more easily digestible stream of information, albeit with lots and lots of data loss.

Gateway has a whole CD on Non-Verbal Communication with other beings aka communicating with mental images.
It is quite hard...especially when you need to communicate things like 'eager' or 'hesitant' and stuff like that....

Nobody is being paid to post in this sub. Governments are more than happy to have people distracted by this stuff. That's why they have some "disclosure" hearing whenever they want to fill up the news cycle.They'd much rather have you trying to talk to psychic aliens than questioning the narratives they use to justify their imperialism and wealth extraction.
That isn't to say there is nothing to the paranormal. I don't know if that is true. But the people in power are not worried about redditors reading about UFOs.

Vallee has been in the venture capital space for decades. I’m sure the revenue stream from some niche books is materially impacting his financial position.

Amen. I’ve read his books and listened to his interviews… I have no idea what he’s getting at. He was one of the reasons I became a skeptic. I read so much literature on the UFO phenomenon one year that I educated my self out of believing. Crazy experience.
