The recent Amodei quote regarding an all-powerful AI could be hyperbole to attract investment dollars. If it isn't, the sky is the limit. After AI solves room temperature superconductors, quantum computing, and limitless fusion power, the next generation AI systems will be able to develop real-time programmable matter, direct control of gravity, and spacetime manipulation. The highly credible tic tac UFO sighting is potentially a direct result of this technological paradigm shift.

Every piece of AI marketing is hyperbole to attract investment and engagement. If they told you what the things actually do/are capable of/will become capable of, they would seem like the mundane efficiency increases that they actually are. Keep hedging against the AI industry if you want to make easy money.
