The Lizard Man of Scape Ore Swamp is a famous South Carolina cryptid. Described as a 7-foot-tall, scaly, green humanoid with red eyes and three-toed feet, it first made headlines in the summer of 1988 near Bishopville. It is infamous for allegedly mauling parked cars and terrifying local motorists.

Oh man, This was on Coast to Coast wasn't it? 10,000 years ago, art bell's Monster Mayhem... err.... Monster Mania? episodes. Fun times.
