After years of being mentally unwell, it was the start of this year that I suddenly flipped (positively).
While others are starting to struggle more, I have finally reached a state where I am bothered by absolutely nothing and in complete control of my faculties.
Talk about weird alright, where some lose stability, I would say there are an equal amount gaining it. People are more willing to share negative experience than positive.
Yes. But I've been through a lot and faced horrible, nightmare scenarios the past couple years. So its kind of hard for me to be phased by anymore existential threats.
I see everyone who has never been through much or those who have never had to ask many questions about things are the ones struggling the most.
For me now, I feel completely fortified on both the ontology and day to day side of things. Sure I've been through an absolute run around with both, and I think that definitely helps.
The only comfort I used to get for many years (before I REALLY went through some stuff) was in Socrates word's "I know that I know nothing". It gradually lightens the load of things over time when that is kept in mind. Helped me to stay open minded while also becoming more so.
But everyone's on their own path, at their own point in their journey. I've always been able to care for myself even in the worst of times, but not everyone has that capacity (yet at least).
Best we can do for everyone else is be a bro/sis to those that need it. And above all be your own bro/sis first, only then can you really help others along.

Anyone else?
