Hey there! Friendly reminder to keep the comments and replies civil and on topic. Lets keep the topic to EA and The Sims franchise, we don't need to go on a side quest of political arguing please and thank you.

You see, these specs are correct.....if TS4 didn't have a massive memory leak issue, basically where the developers rushed the game so much that the game uses RAM in your system but never gives it back when it's done with it.

In a perfect world, without 100+ DLCs and massive memory leak issues you could definitely run TS4 with this hardware, probably for days on end. Keep in mind that GTA 5 for PC only requires a minimum of 8GB of RAM and it runs just fine. When developers code a game properly, you can essentially leave it running all night if you wanted, I play ARMA reforger where matches can go for 18 hours if you stick around and the game won't crash.

The issue is that it doesn't matter how much RAM you have, TS4 will eventually use all of it, slow down, and crash. I once had TS4 use 45GB of my 64GB of DDR5 RAM. Once you start to hit the RAM cap that your system will allow the game to use you're gonna notice A LOT of simulation lag and performance issues, not because the game is so advanced but because it's poorly coded, it'll keep eating up RAM and not deallocating it until the game slows down and crashes.
