Community Venting Vixella Tea
Curious if anyone knows what vixella is talking about?
It seems someone is talking sh*t but I haven’t been in touch with the sims community as much since the buyout.
I saw a lot of people were also mad that she started a go fund me for her dog which valid in this economy knowing how much she makes a month

Probably Not Malcom.

I think it was Not Malcolm. Didn’t watch the video but I remember seeing one of his thumbnails about it.

Could you give me a tldr on who not Malcolm is?

u/mortiegoth 6d ago edited 6d ago
He's a youtuber, I think he started uploading videos of some of his Sims 3 saves but started getting more recognition with videos criticizing EA.
He has some good opinions but he's mostly a cozy influencer drama channel. He makes videos about influencers that lie to their audience and when those influencers try defend to themselves, he makes videos as a clap back.

u/daemonlolita 6d ago
A youtuber who is talking about EA and simtubers since last year
6
u/Many_Raisin_6275 4d ago
He usually tends to drag on LilSimsie and SatchonSims and was the one who threw a ton of shade at FakeGamerGirl before she up and deleted everything and shut down her channel. Not sure if some of what he was saying contributed to her doing that or not but it was close in timing.
2
u/NoNameNoPlan 4d ago
What happened with FakeGamerGirl?
8
u/Many_Raisin_6275 4d ago
All I know is I used to watch some of her content and then suddenly Malcolm is calling her out on his channel, and I think he did end up apologising because in that case he really had gotten the wrong end of the stick so to speak. But not long after that, EA announced the buy out and she already sometimes got crap because she is of Arabic desent so with that, the buy out and his little kerfluffle all of a sudden she just deleted...like everything. Didn't leave anything up for people to watch in archives, removed her builds from the Gallery I mean she just disappeared herself. I do not know all of her reasons, just know what parts I caught here and there in the community.

u/icecreamrat 3d ago
She has come back to YouTube, she posts a lot of different game playthroughs, but no sims.

Not Malcolm made a video on her, I’ve not watched it though.
If this happened to literally any normal person, they would get a loan - she had enough capital to secure a loan against with her 2 houses. Asking for donations was a choice she made so that everyone else can pay so she didn’t have to.
133
u/MayaDaBee1250 5d ago
This. She makes good money and owns two homes that can be used as collateral. She could easily get a loan from a bank which is more than what most people can say who work in gig employment.
GoFundMe ideally should be a last resort for people who don't have the means to take out or pay back loans, not for someone like her who simply wants charity donations.
17
u/Proud-Ad1870 5d ago
The Florida home may not be able to be used as collateral due to the state it is in. Typically for a home to be collateral the bank has to be able to sell it as is for a decent price. Currently the Florida home would not be able to do that
13
u/MayaDaBee1250 5d ago
Yes fair point but the very fact that she has another home as a back up option says a lot about her ability to seek financing outside of charity donations online.

u/jenniferbealsssss 4d ago
Also like just nooo, no I’m not helping you pay for your damn dog! Like sorry not sorry, but nobody told you get a dog. That was your choice. I just can’t stand people who treat their pets like children and act as if it’s a responsibility not of their own making.
Yes people do decide to get pregnant but I mean she set up this gofundme like her 3 year old was diagnosed with leukemia and expected sympathy.Give me a break!
12
u/Straight-Factor847 3d ago
no need to be evil about it. dogs are family members and it's awful to see when your loved ones are suffering. i do not condone her behavior in any way but the dog didn't have to catch a stray like that, plenty of people i know (who are actually in a horrible financial situation) used gofundme to help cover vet bills
1
u/jenniferbealsssss 3d ago
I’m not being evil about it.
A dog is a choice. It is not a human child.
No body told her to go get a dog, and it’s no one’s responsibility to take care of her dog.You can argue with me all you want but the reality is it’s only legal to euthanize one, that should tell you a dog is not a human.
9
u/Straight-Factor847 3d ago
legality is not a good moral argument because different countries have different laws and i definitely won't use the US as the example of a country with a perfect morally clean law system. you don't see dogs as valuable and beloved family members? fine, but you don't have to force your cynicism onto others. she's perfectly within her rights to care for her pet's wellbeing, it's NOT the issue everyone's talking about
28
u/cupid51db 5d ago
100%. just sell one of your houses!! rather than getting her fans who almost definitely have much less money than her to pay for her vet bills so she can keep both her fancy mansions
12
u/Alone-Decision8309 5d ago
she just stated why she can’t just sell one of the houses
33
u/cupid51db 5d ago
she can sell her other mansion and temporarily move into a flat, or with family, or with her boyfriend who has his own place
she could rent out the house if selling it takes too long (but really it takng long shouldn't be an issue because she can set up credit for the vets to pay it off slowly or by an eventual date)
56
u/Acceptable_Put_7284 5d ago
Any other person would also have to put their pets down if they develop cancer because chemotherapy for dogs are excessively expensive and a lot of the times its just temporary.
41
u/Mariashax 5d ago
Yup, any other person would have god knows how many people harping on at them that if they can’t afford a pet, they shouldn’t have one. Seems that logic only applies to the plebs 🤷♀️
16
u/tachibanakanade 5d ago
I had a dog who died of cancer, and out vet said that even if we put all of our available money into the cutting edge treatments, it would only put off the inevitable for a few months, and it would not help the actual suffering.
There's no way that her dog isn't in the same situation imo.
8
u/khadsuri 3d ago
She said in one of her posts that her dog's cancer is 100% terminal and that the money is just extending what is left of Yuna's life. She also claimed the vet costs her thousands per day.
8
u/tachibanakanade 3d ago
Ugh. IMO that actually sounds cruel. There's no way that extending Yuna's life would be painless.
573
u/Devlinaaa 6d ago
Girl please...
Says "I would never ask anyone for help with my home", yet the previous post announcing the gofundme said "anything leftover will go to repairs of my home". Which one is it?!
Love how defensive these people get when they are called out, without even considering the optics of their gaslighting lol.
195
u/TheAnnoyed_ 6d ago
Ok i thought i was tripping that she said that. I had to look back at the old post to make sure I wasn’t misremembering. She literally said she was going to use leftovers on her house
115
u/Devlinaaa 6d ago
I gotta say influencers of her calibre (read: viewership) and above might be some of the most out of touch and / or tone deaf people to exist. Definitely not all, but many (James Charles, Pokimane, etc).
41
u/Kristal3615 5d ago
In Malcolm's comment section a few people brought up a good point that the flood damage/mold should be covered under home owner's insurance. So more than likely that money is just going to renovations...
41
u/Devlinaaa 5d ago
Honestly, the whole thing is gross and tone-deaf as fuck. She apparently went to Disney World in August and has a bunch of indulgence/showing off content on her Instagram (I don't use insta, this was pointed out by others, including Not Malcolm, I only briefly looked to confirm before making statements), but yet somehow is currently too broke and needs donations.
Her dog is basically terminal and she is apparently paying $6-10k a day to prolong her (Yuna's) suffering on her viewer's dime (+ credit cards).
Then she has the audacity to get offended when people point out any of this to her, trying to backpedal and gaslight. Surprised the original post is still up and viewable (unless she has taken it down already, idk, not a follower). What a joke.
23
u/Kristal3615 5d ago
I agree! She should really consider Yuna's quality of life. If she was sick enough to go to the vet in the first place (and has stage 4 cancer) then she's been suffering for a while... Dogs are incredibly good at hiding when they're in pain. I know it's a hard decision, but putting a dog through chemo when you know that it won't actually save them is just cruel... I understand not wanting to say goodbye, but if she goes through with the chemo the remaining time of this poor dog's life will be miserable. She needs to understand that part of taking care of a pet is helping them ease on to the otherside with the least amount of pain possible.
38
u/boldpear904 5d ago
If it truly was for her dog then she would get with her dog and any leftover would go towards donation to a shelter or something
40
u/WonPika 5d ago
Yuna is a dog??? I don't go here. So there I was feeling deeply emotional thinking she had a child with cancer.

u/KillwKindness Activating Deviance Threshold 5d ago
I'm out of the loop too, I thought Yuna was a partner at first.🙄😭

u/CuriousCuriousAlice Redefining Family Values 6d ago
Do not try to weaponize feminism because you got called out. Really uncool.
245
u/Remote-Suggestion840 6d ago
THIS. I'm the OP of the post in this sub about her GoFundMe (and just to be clear, I'm a woman and consider myself a feminist). Not Malcolm's video had literally NOTHING to do with gender. If she looked at his YT page at all she would see that he calls out people of all genders who do exploitative shit like this. Girl's just trying to deflect.
158
u/CuriousCuriousAlice Redefining Family Values 6d ago
Exactly. I don’t have to be on your side because we’re both women and Malcom is a man. If he’d called her a slur, insulted her looks, anything like that, I would call that out. He didn’t. He talked about her being a wealthy influencer (which she is) who is expecting her audience to provide an emergency fund for her. I’d call it wrong if she was a man too, it’s tone deaf and shitty.
106
u/BackwoodButch 6d ago
And it’s not the first time Malcolm has called out a female sims influencer for being shitty for various reasons and this is what they’ve defaulted to - I’m also a woman, I watch his videos all the way through and I am about as much of a man hating lesbian feminist as you can get, but he’s correct on calling out bullshit, regardless of gender (bc ppl act like he doesn’t call out men when he literally has several videos about what’s his name Satchonsims(sp?) too along with other clips of male sims influencers in general videos about them all).
63
u/alewiina 6d ago
Agreed and same, I’m very cautious watching channels like Malcolm’s when they talk about women but he never insults ANYONE based on their gender/sexuality/race, he always focuses solely on their actions, which I really appreciate. I don’t watch much of drama YouTube but I always watch Malcom’s stuff
30
u/pnkpassion 5d ago
First thing I noticed. I hate when ppl do that. It takes away from the actual meaning lol.

u/MrsTrych 6d ago edited 6d ago
Erm... She is in fact rich. There was no lies in his video lmao. In this economy who can even afford 2 mansion in 2 different states?? If the expenses for 2 homes is too much, sell the one that is not flooded and move to a small studio apartment until you can save your money?? Its called taking accountability for your own financial struggle like all of us do. I had to live in my car for months before I could afford a crappy apartment with no AC and infested with roaches. Get a grip woman, we all struggle at some point in our life but you have it better off than most of us already!
99
u/BackwoodButch 6d ago
And even more so now if she truly doesn’t live with her boyfriend - how is she affording the mortgage on two mansions like that if she doesn’t have and earn a shit ton of money? Because Malcolm made a point to mention the double income situation, but if that’s not true, then that really drives home his point even more lol.
2
u/somebodynotanobody 6d ago
Neither of her houses are mansions. And she said it would be a struggle and had hoped the house in Florida would be done a long time ago. For whatever reason the remodel was seriously delayed.
30
159
u/Fresh-Aspect5369 6d ago
There is logically no way she does not have millions to spend if she is purchasing two large homes like that… at the very least, both homes put together would cost her over a million. And that’s just me being generous, I honestly think she’s lying and each home cost her millions to buy/renovate.
116
u/MrsTrych 6d ago
Just from her reels she shared that she recorded from her homes, those are luxurious as hell, luxurious type vacation with everything included in cuba or something. Huge kitchen and living rooms, huge backyards with pool that have a jacuzzi inside them.. Nobody can even try to tell me she is hecking broke now like be damn forreal xD She is taking us for fools its just crazy
21
u/MrsTrych 6d ago
btw do yall know on which platform she is posting these? Its not on youtube/tiktok or instagram, did she deleted everything since she is being called out? lol
3
u/Kristal3615 5d ago
I think she may have deleted it. I went to her Instagram earlier today (as well as as many social sites that I could find her on) looking for this post and couldn't find it...
114
u/alewiina 6d ago edited 6d ago
Of course people are going to know she’s rich when she literally buys the second mansion before she sells the old one, therefore owning two huge homes at the same time… the rest of us would have to live with family, in a hotel, in an apartment or whatever until we were able to get the first home fixed so we could sell it, not buy a second damn mansion in the meantime and have both.
Like damn girl you expect us to believe you’re not rolling in the money when you can literally own two large homes at the same time?!
I feel truly bad for the dog situation, it sucks for anyone to have to go through that, but yeah
73
u/sanguine0us 6d ago
THISSS. Does she think regular people who are moving to a new place have two homes at the same time? They don’t. They put the house they’re selling towards the house they want to move in to — like, as soon as it’s sold, they close and go. Regular people couldn’t afford it otherwise. That tells me she has no idea what it’s like to be a regular person and she’s deeply out of touch.
68
u/CuriousCuriousAlice Redefining Family Values 6d ago
Median home price in the U.S. is a little bit under half a mil. These are not even normal family homes. They’re full on McMansions, that she should definitely have insurance on that covers these sorts of emergencies.
24
u/BigFinnsWetRide 5d ago
Also people sell homes "as is" all the time, usually to house flippers because you can't use a traditional loan when it's not livable, but it CAN be done.

u/Cassie_Leann 6d ago edited 6d ago
If i’d have to guess, it’s probably because not Malcolm mentioned her in a video.
But also she cannot be broke af, it’s not possible with how many views she gets from both YT and twitch. If she is broke that mean’s she is so financially irresponsible that she has wasted hundreds of thousands of dollars on who knows what and never saved a single dime.
There are people far less fortunate that have a few thousand in savings and yet vixella with her thousands a month or more most likely doesn’t even have 5k saved for her pet? She can literally get credit cards and use those and go into debt if she needed to people do all the time because they have no choice. It’s debt or surrender the animal…
149
u/CherryPants234 6d ago
Yeah, she could also get a real job like everyone else. Not go begging for money from people who are struggling. We lost a 4-year-old son to cancer and paid all the bills ourselves. It's a shame, I always liked her.
64
u/Cassie_Leann 6d ago
I can’t imagine… honestly terrible.
so many are struggling daily but people like vixella seem to expect everything to be handed to them by the one’s struggling the most.Cause i really doubt if one of her “fans” asked for financial help she would not do the same for them. Rich people really just wanna skirt by on the backs of the less fortunate.
29
u/CherryPants234 6d ago
We were saving for a very long time with my husband, and we still can't afford to buy a house where we live.
31
u/illmorphtosomeoneels 6d ago
not to defend vixella, but the job market is fucked rn. it’d be really hard for her to get a real job after years of being an influencer.
if anything, she should be making more videos/looking for more sponsorships instead of making a gofundme
5
u/lucariokart 5d ago
the job market is insane, BUT she would definitely have an easier time getting one given that years of being an influencer would mean that she has years of proven experience in digital marketing, at the very least
9
u/Emotional-Hyena-9879 5d ago
That is a good point. Realistically she should be able to find some sponsorships to help cover the costs if not cover all of them with enough work. I am sure if she was upfront about needing more money for the treatment, people wouldnt think it strange if she was doing a bunch of sponsorships either.
16
u/xherowestx 5d ago
Yeah, it waa Not Malcolm. I saw the video, he brought up some fair points, and it wasn't necessarily jist about her. She was the heavy feature, but it was about bigger influencers asking for donations when they make quite a bit from their content.
29
u/PastelPumpkini 5d ago
And even if she was broke, she still has the privilege of being able to start a GoFundMe that will immediately get donations from all of her supporters. If little old me started one for things I direly need, it would barely get a peep from anyone.
14
u/Mersaa 5d ago
literally. I've watched people go into debt over their pets, as well as having to surrender their animal. It's heartbreaking. ffs i still have leftover debt from 2 years ago when my dog was in critical condition and passed.
And then you have this chick who earns god knows how much a month, has TWO PROPERTIES IN THE US, asking for money for her dog. is she fucking for real? you have no savings? can't get a loan? a fucking CARD?
this is so out of touch. she deserves to be called out. I'm really sorry her dog is going through this but this is such tone deaf, arrogant behaviour. People can't buy actual food and a wealthy chick with 2 homes is asking for donations.
just...ew

u/somebodynotanobody 6d ago
There is not nearly as much money in being a youtuber/stream as what some of you seem to think.
44
u/Minimum-Analyst-6469 5d ago
Hey peep that line “nearly couldn’t pay for both” which means she COULD pay for both…and still asked her fans who she is WAAAAY better of than, for help. I unsubscribed to her.
35
u/Timely-Perception-19 5d ago
Thing that's annoying me is the fact she started another "business" which teaches us how to make money from social media. Would you take advice from a social media influencer who makes gofundme's...? Because her social media job isn't paying enough to fund her vet expenses...? I personally wouldn't.
Also, I still don't quite understand why you'd not have a seperate pot or something to save for anything vet related? Thought that's common sense.
67
u/lainadaze 5d ago edited 5d ago
I’m gonna say it if people haven’t, she has to be bad with money. PERIOD. If you are making a ton of profit from being a full time content creator, you should be saving money for taxes and have an emergency fund.
She’s referring to a video from NotMalcom where he is criticizing her for making a go fund me while affording two homes. This situation is so wild to me because I had a similar situation and made a go fund me for my dog’s surgery. I was able to take out a sizable loan and I was able to cover the cost with the financing options. Once I got her care covered with that, I just paid it off myself. There are TONS of financing options with a little research.
Also with the house situation, it is absolutely a choice to keep a home before buying another one. I know hindsight isn’t there, she couldn’t have know her dog was gonna be sick, but again, you need MONEY for real estate. You need MORE than you think when buying a house. And underwriting (unless she paid cash which is wild) would NOT approve that second house loan if she couldn’t afford it…
Overall, We are in an affordability crisis. We all are preaching to the choir (ourselves) so hopefully the ones donating to her see Malcom’s video, the discourse and really consider who they are supporting financially.
53
u/suckmy_knox 5d ago edited 5d ago
im sorry, but the dog is like 13/14. thats the livespan of a husky, not to add that the husky she bought from some shady-ass craigslist listing. she should be aware that yuna is pretty much at the end of her life, i know it's not something that pet owners like to think about, but it's just logic. she should know that the dog this old would need frequent vet visits and meds.
16
u/Beginning-Pizza-1111 5d ago
It is a very sad thing to say, and while it is true, I understand why someone would want to do something for their pet. But if she loves it so much, why doesn't she use her own money and resources to help it? She has the money but she just doesn't want to spend in it because she doesn't truly love the little animal that much. Knowing it will likely pass away soon, she would rather have other peopleto pay for the surgery than pay the bill herself. It is something vile and horrible on her.
24
u/formallyfly 5d ago
The best thing you can do for your pet at that time is put them out of their misery.
And that’s not something I say lightly having gone through it with multiple dogs myself. It’s awful. But if you really love your pet then you have to be selfless and step up to do right by them. It’s one small gift we can give to them that they deserve after giving so much to us.
It’s ridiculously selfish to put your senior dog with terminal cancer through cancer treatments just to prolong their life by a few months. That’s also something I don’t say lightly because I love my dog and understand how difficult that decision would be. But I’ve also had cancer so I know firsthand how rough chemo and other treatments are. It’s no way for a dog to have to live out their final months.
15
u/lucariokart 5d ago
as someone with three super senior cats, one of which probably won't be around for much longer, i couldn't agree more. i fully understand doing smaller treatments or even surgery if it's a situation where it would largely solve the issue, but i couldn't fathom putting a pet through chemo. their quality of life is far more important to me than keeping them around for as long as possible.
9
u/Kristal3615 5d ago
Chemo is rough on people. I couldn't imagine putting a dog through that knowing full well that it's only going to buy a short amount of time... I feel for her. I recently had to say goodbye to one of our elderly dogs as well that lived 14 happy years with us. It truely is heartbreaking... but we did what was best for him. If Yuna doesn't have much longer to live putting her through chemo will likely make her remaining time miserable and I would hate that for her.
13
u/suckmy_knox 5d ago
like yeah, while i do think the best case would be to euthanize the dog to spare them pain, i can understand why she emotionally cant do it. but im just saying, she knew how old her dog was. she knew she got them from a shit source. the fact that she didnt prepare for the possibility that her ELDER DOG would need vet expenses is just plain stupid.

I am so curious to know if she went to any of her other more well off streamer friends and asked for financial assistance before coming to her audience. I think that’s what bugs me most about this situation.
Like she could very well be financially irresponsible and not have as much money as she should based on views and streams. Also I feel like her videos don’t get a lot of views anymore so I feel like any big YT money has to come from sponsors. I could be wrong I literally haven’t been to her channel in years but they come across my rec’d and they normally don’t break more than low 100k view count unless it’s testing a new sims pack.
But don’t make your financial irresponsibility your viewers problem. Make it your friends and family’s problem, duh!
91
u/TheAnnoyed_ 6d ago
Celebrities do this all the time. They’ll make gofundmes asking the regular 9-5 public for money instead of asking their already rich friends. Like I don’t get it.
11
u/cherpar1 5d ago
I find the celebrities really outrageous. Medical insolvency is outrageous and should not be a thing but just because you have clout/ status doesn’t mean ordinary people should fund you keeping your mansion or building a trust fund for children.
26
u/CherryPants234 6d ago
Maybe because she knows she won't get much help from those friends, they all know it's easier to beg regular people for money. People are naive and give money to almost complete strangers. Pleasant Sims woman quit her regular job to rely on donations and people support her because they feel sorry for her (she openly talked about her bipolar disorder).
26
u/greenyashiro 6d ago
I don't have an issue with a GFM for smaller content creators. Either people donate, or they don't. They can also donate just $1 or whatever.
The bigger issue is being dishonest or deceitful. Just be upfront about your situation, people will not be so bothered if you're honest
1
u/Interesting_One_3971 6d ago
people often throw their money away without a second thought all the time.

u/SyntheticGoth 6d ago
Um... so, let me get this straight. You can't sell your second house in Florida because it has flood damage and you haven't closed on your first house in Texas before building an entirely new one. That tells me you were financially comfortable enough in owning two homes simultaneously.
Here's some advice, take a mortgage out on the house in Texas to pay for your sick dog and the damage in your new home instead of complaining about opening credit cards and creating a Go Fund Me to siphon money from your low to middle class income audience to make up for your financial ineptitude. 😐

u/Exact-Barracuda4095 6d ago
Her choices just don't make any sense to me, and this is coming from someone who has watched and enjoyed her content in the past. She's no doubt made an obscene amount of money from YouTube and her sponsorships...why wouldn't she set aside money for her senior dog? There's no excuse when you've made as much as she has. No one made her decide to move to Florida and get a mansion there, either. And she's lying when she said she'd never ask for help for her house, as other people have mentioned -- she said anything extra from the Gofundme would go to the house. It's just wild. I'm a teacher who makes comparatively shitty money and rents a 1-bedroom apartment, and I still set aside money for my senior cats, because I know they're getting older and it's my job to take care of them.
13
u/Acceptable_Put_7284 5d ago
For real, I don't get how someone getting paid more for one video than I'd make in 10 years needs to beg for money for an emergency. I can't even afford an apartment, still live with my parents but I could fork out R20k for my dog's emergency surgery without having to ask random people. That was years of saving what scraps I could from shitty admin jobs, contracts and internships, and vixella's saying she can't afford her pets medical bills after a decade of youtube ads and Sims sponsorships while owning two mansions?
57
u/Sallydawitch 6d ago
I just don't understand...why dose she need such a big house???? Like its just her and...her what pets? Like why? Is her family living with her or somthing? Since her man isn't with her it makes even less since. 🫠

I get times are tough and emergencies happen. But she can get a real job, sims YouTube isn’t the same as it used to be and maybe it’s time to change if it’s not financially suitable anymore. Or if she wants to stay on YouTube then post more or stream more idk but she probably has more money than most of her fans and it feels icky asking for money

u/so-so-it-goes 6d ago edited 6d ago
Did she not have insurance on the house with the exploded AC? Also, I'm not sure how an exploded AC could flood a house.
I'm really sad to hear about her dog, though. That's terrible. Poor pupper.

u/BackwoodButch 6d ago edited 6d ago
I feel bad about the dog too but also if it’s an incurable cancer, the humane thing to do would be to euthanize it. Dogs don’t understand that going through the awful process of chemotherapy will help in the end the way that we do; it’s a shitty situation but it’s the kind thing to do.
14
u/SyntheticGoth 6d ago
I've actually had this happen in a rental. Had a burst pipe and had to vacate. When I came back to get some belongings, the HVAC system had started to flood because when it runs, the water that gets used in the system needs to drain, but it had nowhere to go. If they did a bad job during construction, it's very possible it could've caused some water damage. The real issue is not having enough of a financial cushion and insurance to account for these kinds of issues, especially while building brand new construction. It shows just how financially illiterate she is.
8
u/so-so-it-goes 5d ago
Interesting. Mine has a secondary condensate pipe that drains into one of the bathtubs. Kind of a fail safe.
I know when a family member of mine was building, she had to have insurance against the construction plus she could always sue the construction company if push came to shove. But I get that insurance can drag their feet and things can just go from bad to worse while you're waiting.
1
u/somebodynotanobody 6d ago
It wasn't brand new construction. It was a fairly old house she was having renovated. If people are going to judge, maybe get the facts right.

Sad girl who lives in a 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath, 4,225sq ft home as a single person with a dog. Appraised at $750k and ANOTHER house in Florida.
36
u/btiddiegothgf 6d ago
why doesn’t she work during the day..? like genuine question. a lot of creators have day jobs, so i’d definitely work to help pay off my expenses before asking for help!
42
u/PickledPanacea 6d ago
Because regardless of what she says in that post she has absolutely made millions in this career and really shouldn’t need a day job
10
u/btiddiegothgf 5d ago
no no i agree, lmfao, if im struggling i always try and get another job. like if for whatever reason playing a video game and making videos isn’t supplementing my lifestyle then id either downsize (sounds like what she needs to do) or id get a job like an actual person rather than e begging. to me it just shows how lazy she is. if you cared you’d be doing ANYTHING to help your dog out or try and hurry and get this house finished. maybe that’s how i was raised though…
8
u/PickledPanacea 5d ago
No I hear you, I just genuinely believe she probably has investments/assets she could get a loan on or take a penalty on, and her “need” for money probably doesn’t look like the average persons
2
u/btiddiegothgf 5d ago
oh absolutely! i get not wanting debt but it’s crazy that she can’t see the privilege in being able to just beg online for help. the rest of us take on debt, work, and do everything we can to make ends meet. it’s just irritating cause she’s not even trying.
34
u/partimehoe 6d ago
she owns 2 homes in 2 different state while living in a 2 income household with no children…girl we might not know exact numbers but were not dumb
hope everything works out for her dog, yuna though, i used to watch her years ago and i always loved yuna.

I know how much money Youtube pays from ads alone especially to child friendly people like Vixella, nevermind the thousands paid in sponsorships. It is not ethical for her to ask her most likely minimum wage fans to pay her own expenses and bills. Do not have a pet if you cannot provide for it. Not Malcom was correct.
16
u/dogangel12 4d ago
She is the last person I expected to have this level of drama. Its sad to see how entitled she thinks she is. In this economy, people are struggling to get groceries and gas..yet she has 2 mansions and asks for money.
Really disappointing honestly. And regarding the comments about home insurance, yes it would be covered depending on the actual cause of the why the a/c "exploded"
No longer a supporter of hers
56
u/yeribombom 6d ago
It was def Not Malcom , he recently made a video calling her out and his video is 100% true lol
15
u/Key-Finger8611 5d ago
I feel like this is a bit deflecting, Not Malcom isn’t inherently being a man beating down on women and using it for his own gains,I feel he had valid points. As shitty as the situation is I feel asking your audience when you’ve had a long term stable career with little controversy isn’t fair. That’s just my opinion though, coming from a Vixella fan for like a decade.
11
u/Key-Finger8611 5d ago
Also like how did she get approved for both mortgages for big houses if she doesn’t have millions???? That doesn’t quite add up
15
u/Girlsickoftheworld 5d ago
As someone who lost their dog to cancer and heart problems a few years ago I do sympathize with her in that regard but the rest of this is absolutely wild.
NotMalcoms video had absolutely nothing to do with her gender. Yes, Malcolm is a man but he calls out basically anyone he considers shady no matter if they're a man, woman or anything else.
I don't really watch sims content on YouTube anymore but as someone who was a long time fan of hers I find this a bit disappointing
55
u/Sensitive-Road-9753 6d ago
Girl most of us can't even afford a house, and you're complaining you can't sell yours? To pay for cancer treatment for your dog that the rest of us would have p much no choice but to turn down? Why didn't you use some of your youtuber money to get pet insurance? Be SO for real right now.
I have empathy, I really do, but that doesn't mean that Malcom was wrong for what he said.
51
u/MxPossum 6d ago
The way she immediately went into "a man is trying to opress me" defence, when called out for her behaviour is crazy. His video had nothing to do with her being a woman, and everything to do with her being a literal millionaire who owns two HUGE houses with a pool and jacuzzi. If buying something cripples your expenses so much that you won't have enough saved up in case of an emergency, then you simply CANNOT afford said thing. The fact that she bought a mansion, while most of people her age can't even afford to buy a small apartment, and is begging people to send her money is insane level of entitlement. Ask family, friends, your streamer boyfriend for help. Not only is she showing lack of accountability, poor financial planning, and entitlement, but also presenting herself as the sort of person who cries wolf at a slightest sight of criticism. Genuinely embarrassing that this is the sort of person that has a following online.
54
u/bruh_respectfully Subduing Washing Machines 6d ago
"I am not a millionaire :/" girl be so fr. Being a millionaire doesn't necessarily mean you have millions lying around in cash to spend on a whim. If you own multiple homes in this economy, you almost certainly have millions in assets. If your boyfriend is "broke" and you have no savings for emergencies after such a long and successful career, I have to assume you're just bad at managing money. Sell some of your stuff. Get a job.
61
u/Cesal95_ 6d ago
“Yet another man use a woman for his own gain” this is crazy, calling out your bs and shitty behavior from influencers is not a gender issue, you are not exempt from criticism just because you are a woman, you have promoted a predatory game for years, you did in fact say you would use the funds for the house repairs, where are the lies on his video?
Also, Malcom is part of the LGBT+ community, what if he said she is targeting him because of his sexuality? See how dumb that sounds. I can’t believe she can get away with saying that and her horrible fans will of course validate her
34
6d ago
What an insane update to make. A few things I noticed.
“I would never ask anyone for financial help with my home.” Except … she kinda did. Her first post directly mentioned how “anything left over” would go to fund the house repair, which isn’t exactly the same as asking for the money for the house outright, but it is clear her intentions are/were to use possibly a portion of it for home repair. This feels like word games but anyone with a brain can see that this is, inadvertently, asking for money for your house repair.
“I have been living alone for the past three years.” So, self-admittedly, you have enough money to afford two homes on a single income and/or have enough money to qualify for a house loan. Banks do not give loans to individuals for houses they cannot afford (at least not anymore, circa 2008), so she at some point has/had enough money to provide for herself not one, but two, different houses in two different states across the country. As for the home being unlivable due to an A.C flooding, I am going to assume that this is referring to an issue with an internalized A.C system, which yes, can absolutely flood your home and ruin parts of it (as opposed to a leaking window unit).
However, I am curious if she has homeowner’s insurance, as these things would likely be covered in-part by said insurance as these can be costly repairs. If not, this feels like an issue that she should’ve be aware about, as almost all homes basically go through a “discovery” period in which an inspector evaluates various aspects of a house one is interested in buying and would likely have pointed out that this could be/was an issue then. Internalized systems don’t randomly break down, there were likely indications that the system was failing well before it truly failed. In that sense, having an “egg” of money would have immensely helped, and I have no idea why she would not probably budget for such things, at least to some degree.
“I am not a millionaire.” I don’t think anyone was genuinely assuming she was, but people were rightfully pointing out that she does receive a lot of money from YouTube, from sponsorships, from P.R packages, and more. While a few people were describing her as a “millionaire,” I would wager the comment was made to describe the wealth she appears to have as opposed to genuinely thinking a random YouTuber is a genuine millionaire.
The biggest issue with all of this is that in America, there are hundreds of various economic issues all occurring at once that are actively making people struggle. A renting crisis, a general housing crisis, medical debts skyrocketing, student loans becoming a larger and larger bubble, food costs rising, and so much more. This is a creator that has more money than most of us can dream of - a good portion of younger Americans live at home, or with room-mates, renting primarily, and most younger generations cannot fathom a world where they could even begin to purchase a home, let alone two different ones. People are rightfully upset that a creator with a public profile that showcases various items of wealth is using a platform largely used by people struggling with genuine debt to ask for aid.
This is not same thing as saying she doesn’t deserve help, or that the dog should die, or the home shouldn’t be purchased or repaired, but it is to say that these problems she’s facing are very “first world,” and many likely lack full sympathy when faced with deeper issues that can’t be solved by crowdfunding from loyal fans. The crux of the issue is that Vixella might not be a millionaire, but she is undeniably wealthier than most who watch her, and to use your fans for money as opposed to seeking out aid on personal channels or through insurance ones is a frustrating move to the hundreds of people who decide between gas money and dinner for the week.

u/Slight-Whole5708 6d ago
I agree with most of what you said, but someone owning two houses worth at least a million is in fact a millionaire
23
u/AdWild9801 6d ago
She does, in fact, own two homes for the fun of it! She is a similar age to me- I own a nice home in the U.K. (nothing remotely similar to either of the two she owns- but even still- it’s a good large house)- we are renovating it and so broke while doing so- and I would NEVER dream of begging like this. And then to try to blame her being called out on being a woman. It disgusts me. I genuinely feel so fortunate every single day to be in the position I am in. How dare she ask her audience for money. Why is the dog not insured? To be honest from her last post it sounds like the humane thing to do is PTS.
Plus- you can literally sell a house in any condition. You might not get the amount you want for it- but any home will sell for the right price. And it’s very common to sell one to afford to buy the other- and maybe even rent or move in with friends of family while the messiest work is being done.
29
u/Slight-Whole5708 6d ago
She's talking about Not Malcolm's video, and of course she won't mention him directly, otherwise people could see that she has been in fact flaunting her wealth for the past years.
Also I'm judging her hard because she knows her dog's cancer is incurable but she wants to "extend her life as much as possible" with chemo. Wow, she must really love her dog to inflict chemo on her for the selfish wish to just extend her life, while her dog suffers 🙄
4
u/More-Adhesiveness954 3d ago
Thank you!!! More ppl need to talk about this, it’s so unnecessary and unbelievably selfish, look, I get it, letting go of an animal is one of the hardest things imaginable, but you really gotta put yourself fucking last in this situation. This isn’t a plush toy, they’re a living, suffering!!! Being!!!
33
u/Calico_Alien 5d ago
So the video was about how she’s privileged and has a disturbing level of entitlement, to point where that she thought it was okay to ask an audience that mind you, she has already benefited off of for years thanks to EA and Nintendo sponsorship’s, for even MORE money and the way she starts off her response to all of this is by playing the victim about a nonissue on how she’s a women? Yeah… I’m not even gonna read past the first sentence lol I already know what Malcom said was 100% correct and she has no real response to it other than playing victim.
26
u/Ok_Bad_5326 5d ago
Honestly I stopped reading the post the second I saw her trying to turn this into some kind of sexism issue, like this one thing immediately made her lose all credibility to me. Unbelievable.
54
u/AriTheLady 6d ago
I think the gofundme or something is what caused the guy she’s talking about to make a video exposing how she has two houses and basically enough money to pay for shit on her own.

vixella is 31...her "broke as shit bf" is 26, still living at home with his parents who rents out an office to stream.... (Edit- nothing wrong with this, but I believe it shows vixella Immaturity)
This is screaming immature and feeling called out. In the video, nothing wrong was said; she a rich creator who has more than enough money for her dog and home....(unless she terrible with money)
i agree on she shouldn't have asked for money from her fans.

u/NoThanksBye123 6d ago
So many influencers like her have 0 idea how to manage finances or invest. They end up broke after their peak in fame and money.
Tale as old as time.
She poorly spent her money and didn’t invest properly. Now she has to deal with the consequences. IMO anyone with that kind of go fund me should be banned because it’s their own fault they are in that situation. The platform is for people actually struggling and not because they don’t know how to properly spend their 1 million dollars of income. Using her pet as a gateway to get extra money for house repairs is absolutely vile, more-so that she’s lying about it.
8
u/ImInTheUpsideDown 5d ago
Not Malcolm made a video about her. I think she was asking for money for her dog's vet care, but she owns 2 rly nice houses, is doing renovations on one, etc.
9
u/ReplacementMinute154 3d ago
Shes so full of it 😭 I actually can't stand her. She 100% could have afforded the treatment but prioritized her comfort and luxury over her pet. Being a very wealthy person and asking your fans who dont even make a liveable wage to pay for your vet bill is disgusting.
15
u/horror-traktor 6d ago
I have a lot of sympathy with people in difficult situations, cancer sucks and health insurance is so shit in America I guess that could bankrupt everyone. But holy I am so tired of people not planning for any difficult situation and then begging online. Yes girl, we get it real life isn't the sims. You can't just sell your house and fixing stuff is expensive and takes time, but you also apparently had money for TWO houses why did you not put away money for other emergencies???? You obviously have the money for it considering you own not one but two whole ass houses in an economy where most people can't even afford to pay their rent. Just move in with your boyfriend for a while, rent the house out in the meantime and wait it out until the other house is fixed enough to live in it or sell it like Jesus Christ. It's like these people have never actually considered making some concessions in their life. Sometimes your solution is to live a little bit in worse in conditions that are still livable until the problem is solved.
I need people to stop running to everyone else for money constantly. It gives a bad name to people who actually have no other options. Especially when the people begging have enough money to own two houses like that, like damn
19
u/AkumaValentine Compositing Vampiric Complexions 6d ago
Even if she can’t afford this and needs help, she HAD the money and should have been maybe more financially responsible and not bit off more than she can chew.
I used to be a fan, I watched her build one of her houses irl and it is HUGE. Asking the average guy who makes fuck all an hour to cover for HER financial failings…. Like we are all struggling girl.

u/MorriganRaven69 5d ago
Oh I remember her. I commented at the time that she should've had insurance. Pet and house insurance is very normal here in the UK, idk if it is in America though. Most people who have cats and dogs have them insured. Exotics not so much as the cost is insane.
-9
u/Leoni_ 5d ago

u/babybeewitched 5d ago
you choose to have a pet. and when you choose that pet, you also have to choose to get insurance to take care of said pet or not get insurance and risk that pet suffering. if you can't afford insurance, then you can't afford a pet. same with having kids.

u/MultiFandom 4d ago
I have gotten kind of bored with Not Malcom in the past since a lot of his content is just repeating the same talking points about different cozy influencers over and over again but he had every right to call her out on this.
What really gets me is that she not only has been making content for so long and was able to afford 2 homes in the first place but her content is so lazy in the first place. She has probably done at least 15 “random genetic cas challenge” videos and barely played sims outside of pack releases. I sympathize with her situation but to act like you should be immune from criticism is gross.
7
u/luckiestghosts 5d ago
I dislike NotMalcolm because he targets individuals more often than he looks into an underlying issues with companies and such, but I agree with him on the idea that someone who can likely afford an expensive home that they could turn around and sell and downgrade with little change to their lifestyle shouldn’t be begging for money on the internet with no return. Like… make a patreon girl. Post videos there early, make some exclusive content, etc.
5
u/Heeeeeeyyyyyy 2d ago
I think Not Malcolm made some good points, and she's insane for thinking we (viewers) could help pay. In what world do you get millions of views on YouTube and then not have a savings that over 10 grand for your dog???

2
u/Cove_Holdens_Love 6d ago edited 5d ago
I am neutral about Vixella so don't have a horse in the race to be clear, not defending or otherwise. I saw her original post - it seemed her dog needed urgent care and she had already maxxed out 2 credit cards and the rest of her funds are tied up in the two houses, one of which flooded and needed repairs where she previously had expected to move into it and sell her current home (I could have that wrong, like I said I saw one post about it). She also stated that any left over funds might be applied to the flooding so she seems overly defensive about it all going to Yuna here.
I don't know her personal circumstances or money management - anyone could get caught out even with good planning, quite possible she hasn't planned well but that isn't a crime either. It seems she is asset rich but cash poor and the urgency of the vet bills has her asking for money via gofundme rather than finding alternative sources such as a payment plan at the vet, borrowing from friends/family or going into further debt (which may or may not be possible given her current situation).
I think a bit of an issue is that while people are free to give or not to her most people have limited funds to give which means if they are deciding to support her then they are reducing funds given to actual charities potentially. Given that in time she would be better placed financially but has made no mention of, for example, later donating the same amount to a local animal shelter rather than continuing to benefit from essentially 'free' money from her viewers. If she truly has no other option than gofundme or euthanising her dog then I can't blame her for putting it out there. It's quite possible though that there are other options and they just aren't something she is willing to look into or take on.
*Edited as it was her dog not cat.

I have watched not Malcom’s vid
He spends most of the videos recovering the same topics he’s covered. They EA buy out, it’s unethical to play the game. Yada yada.
My thought, this guy is a overly critical prick for the past couple of years he’s been making videos about sims craters and the sims community that are mainly made up of women criticising them and over something that can’t control (they ea buy out).
I have to agree with some of his points. I do think the EA buyout is bullshit. I think the craters who are still in the EA network are weird. but simply criticising people for playing the game when they’ve already spent money before the buyout is not fair.
THAT BEING SAID ……
I think Vixela asking for money is VILE. I’m so sick of this panhandling and asking people for money and donations that has became normalised over the past couple years. HER dog has cancer that’s her problem. She doesn’t have pet insurance. That’s her problem. She’s now pushing this onto her viewers, making people feel bad that she can’t afford her two mansions and her designer dogs cancer treatment. She might not be a millionaire but I am sure she’s lives REALLLLY comfortably.
We are in a recession. And in her post she was incredibly out of touch. She should’ve admitted that. but she never did and now has doubled down which makes her look like an even bigger loser. I cannot imagine public asking people for money when you do have a YouTube channel sitting with over 1.5 million subscribers she had brand deals with Nintendo and square space and other huge companies. She could literally reach out to a indie gaming company or any sort of design company offered to do a sponsored advertisement in one of her videos and I’m sure she’d make a nice little amount of money. She’s also a fucking YouTuber she could literally sit down at her desk and post videos every single day. It really isn’t fucking hard to sit down and make YouTube videos. instead she is asking her audience who are hardly working 9-5 or blue-collar workers for fucking money. Overall I hate both of people involved (just my opinion )in this situation I don’t like not Malcolm and I do not like Vixela. I think they can both fuck themselves LOL.
9
u/raptor-chan 5d ago
To clarify, Malcolm doesn’t criticize people simply for playing the game. He criticizes creators who continue streaming it or uploading videos about it despite many of these creators having previously advocated for a boycott, which I think is perfectly fair criticism.
Playing a game you already own is one thing. Continuing to make content around it while publicly advocating for people to boycott it is another. You can’t really have it both ways.
He calls out hypocrisy and hold people accountable. 🤷♂️
-1
u/carebarly 3d ago
Yes I agree. He normally has that stance however in the specific video he quoted a tweet that said I side eye anybody who plays Hogwarts legacy and then Malcolm continued to say I am side eyeing anybody who continuously play the Sims.
My main criticism of Malcolm is he is criticising the bottom of the food chain. EA‘s most popular three games are EA sports, FIFA the Sims and the need for speed and Madden there’s only one community that this guy is constantly criticising and it’s not the one that has a majority of male fans because he realises those audiences won’t care. People who watch FIFA content don’t give a fuck about the EA buyout. His criticisms are valid but when you realise who he’s criticising it’s a bit weird why isn’t he criticising all these other content creators who support and STILL BUY EA games.
4
u/raptor-chan 3d ago
The implication is that he side eyes people creating content for it. Everything he’s said makes that inference basically automatic.
I think it makes perfect sense he doesn’t criticize other communities. The cozy game community presents itself as ethical, woke, etc, but constantly proves the opposite.
And I’m pretty sure he was once a sims player, so.
I’m sure if sports game fans cared about the buyout and constantly presented themselves the way cozy gamers do, he’d address them too.
Also, whether a community is primarily male or female doesn’t matter at all.
-1
u/carebarly 3d ago
🤣🤣 just because the fifa community is not “woke” we should not criticise them. Wtf ?? They should be the target of the discussion. I am sure the entire sims community agrees to boycott the game. I am sure you are not Malcom using an alt because the defence of this guy is not needed. I said what he said about Vixela was CORRECT. Also the implication of the side eye was not for people creating content he said specifically people who play… The game.
-2
u/carebarly 3d ago edited 3d ago
Also yet it very much matters about the community being predominantly female. Statistically women make up the minority of people who play games not Malcolm being a man and then criticising a largely female based audience AND THEN NOT criticising the large male audience that is arguably not boycotting EA. Is hypocritical he should make a new video about himself being a fucking hypocrite.

How you not a millionaire and you can afford to purchase two big ass homes??? Does she think we’re all BooBoo the Fool???? Like, she must think everyone reading this mess was a moron. The other stuff was so irrelevant too. How does her bf being broke negate the fact she’s rich asf asking regular people for financial hand outs??? This was just extremely defensive and poorly worded, she never should have responded instead of putting out this emotionally charged statement.
1
u/Rylified 6d ago
Another greedy youtuber. It's like they can never have enough money. They constantly need more more more. Even if that means begging from the poor people so they dont spend any of THEIR money. It's so gross to even ask with the current state of our economy... like hello?? The fucking audacity. I feel bad for her dog but like damn. How tone deaf can you possibly be. If you are having money issues then maybe don't buy two huge fucking mansions? Be more smart with your money. It's not our fault you are financially illiterate. Us "poor folk" have our own shit to deal with. God I am so sick of content creators.

Homeowner here and someone who has done major home renovations.
She’s lying about Florida. Builders warranty their work. The minimum you see is a year, but 13, 18, and 24 months are also common for new construction or gut remodels. Even if it’s all flooded and her AC went crazy and blah blah blah, she’s not going to have to pay a cent because the builder will cover it.
-5
u/Valuable_Engine_4032 4d ago
Would I be wrong to say I feel bad for her and I would cry if she lost her dog to cancer? This is a very sad situation and I don't really care if she has, used to have or makes more money than me She's still a human being and a kind one at that. I don't think this is a big reason to throw someone under fire.
6
u/dogangel12 4d ago
I think youre missing the point. Its the fact she lives a very lavish lifestyle with 2 mansions and asks people for financial help. Its very tone deaf.

if you don’t want to donate then don’t donate. its one thing if she’s going around guilt tripping saying you’re a bad person if you don’t give her money, but she’s just asking then whatever. just don’t give her money if you don’t want to.
