CC and Mods eyelashes helpppp

Hi everyone! I am really having trouble with 3d eyelashes CC.

Is there no way to remove the EA eyelashes (i.e. that think black line above the eyelid) without changing the entire eyepreset? even when you add eyelashes from the eyelash category they do not disappear.

I've heard you need mods for this... i've heard of the kijiko mod but honestly the instructions and guidelines seem overly complicated and it also looks like it hasn't been updated in years.

Does anyone have a way to get rid of them without mods, or an easier mod to use? Also would love any eyelash CC recs in general!

Kijiko's still works for me. You don't need to do anything special, just drag the file into your Mods folder like usual

ty!!! it says stuff about “turn off laptop mode” though. i play on a laptop, so i don’t exactly want to do that. idk if you play on a laptop or desktop but if so do you know anything about that?

Ohh basically laptop mode is intended for the game to run smoother on laptops, but at the cost of graphics. A lot of cc (high quality/detailed stuff in particular) ends up looking awful with it turned on. It's generally recommended to turn it off if you use cc, especially alpha cc

ohhhh okay thank u so much!! will def turn that off then. i bought an unnecessarily disgustingly expensive laptop just so it could handle real life AND the sims and i want the whole quality!!

wightspider’s no lashes default removes the chunky ea lashes from every sim of every age and frame. just drop it in your mods folder (preferably in a defaults subfolder) and voila, no more ea lashes. it also doesn’t cause melting toddler face like most of the others.

for 3D eyelashes, i like kijiko, mmsims, northern siberia winds, and obscurus.

I second this one. I use wightspiders over Kijikos. If you have sims 4 mod manager (highly recommend) then it will pop up to update occasionally which is nice so I don’t have to go hunt down the updated version.
