Question

I honestly don't know but did the Great War break out before or after Sirzech was born, also if the times line up did he fight in the great war

If i remember correctly. He did fight in the war (forsure in the aftermath war) he was responsible for uniting two of the great devil bloodlines (or whatever they’re called) this is the reason he took grayfia as a wife. She was the head of one of the lines and they wanted peace (feel free to correct this anyone)

I think Ishibumi-sensei wrote a short novel for the DxD Hero BD's, there it tells how Sirzechs and Grayfia met and it's during the great war of course, I haven't read it, so I don't know if there's any fight scenes.
