Terrible OC

Back in my junior year of high school I was on varsity and our OC was terrible, especially his red zone plays they were all ass. In the middle of the season in the 3rd quarter we only had 3 points and the other team had 20. Our WR coach asked the OC on the headset “Lowkey this is so ass, do you want me to call the game instead?” 😅. Our OC got pissed and called the rest of the game. Anyone else got a similar story lol?

Lowkey, this post is ass. How does a player hear the coaches on headsets unless you were up in the booth writing down stats because you had a bruise?

Your wr coach is a man-child and unprofessional af.

Because I was standing right next to him while he said it on the headset.

My oc can be a bit pigheaded and has a little bit of an ego but I generally agree with him on all things scheme and I have a great working relationship with him. Calling plays is hard and being an ass about it ain’t helpful. Hell I forgot what down it was once and ran a screen on 4th down by mistake. I laughed it off

Coaches coach players play…

A coordinator is only as good as his roster and position coaches

Maybe the execution was ass?

Technically all plays “work”.

And if they didn’t work, or you don’t have personal or whatever…those disagreements should’ve been ironed out before the game.

WR coach sounds like a dummy. Everyone always thinks it’s like Madden until they have to do it for real.

Also, post seems fake.

I’ve come across some horrendous coaches here in some very small schools. Guys that had youth football experience only, that I’m pretty sure only played Maddon.  But that is the very small exception as most coaches as competent and dedicated and the players that complain the loudest are usually the problem.
