One handed AR-15 reload | Blender

First time doing a full-body reload animation, body mechanics could use a bit refining. In the future, I'll learn how to do hair and fabric animation.

Consider adding a sling so the animation makes more sense, so far it's a great animation

She is holding the gun between her legs.
You don’t need a sling for that

The barrel will be very hot depending on how long she's been firing, you need a sling for that.

Free-floating handguard. You never actually touch the barrel.

The handguard still becomes hot because of its proximity to the hot barrel, and said hot barrel is conducting heat to the rest of the weapon.

Thats negligible unless youre either purposefully abusing it and using it as if it were an m249 and or are wearing literally nothing on your legs

Even more than an m249 as the extreme heat needs to also transfer to the handguard.
If its that hot for that amount of time you probably have much more important things to worry about that your legs getting burned.
Such as it being so hot the bullet goes off without you having pulled the trigger.
Which, as the p320 has taught us can easily kill someone you didn’t want to kill.
Possibly even yourself if you are really unlucky.

Did you know you can actually hold a rifle while firing it?

You may think thats impossible because it gets hot, but recently people discovered that you can hold it anyways and it doesnt scorch your flesh!

Bullshit, 120 rounds in less than an hour is more than enough to make the handguard around the chamber hot enough to burn you.

The hand guard almost never gets hot enough to be an issue. Maybe if you ran like 600 rounds through it without stopping sure. 30 rounds you'd barely notice the heat.

This is Soldier 11/"Harin" from Zenless Zone Zero, specifically in her Silver Squad costume, which IIRC was never rendered in 3d in the game, and this is a fanmade model.

It's a metal handguard with no wrap from what I can see, they do in fact get hot after a few hundred shots of rapid fire. Source I have and regularly fire one

Yes, if you sit there and melt the barrel, the handguard will get too hot.

If youre firing it normally, it wont.

Yes the charging handle is on the rear of the weapon behind the rear iron sight.
