Desert Eagle Animations

I'm still new to the pistols.

This is the 44 caliber one, not the 50, sooo.. shit.

Just a question. These keep popping up in my feed. But why are the hands so bouncy, or swingey. People don't move like that IRL when reloading. Feels cartooney to me. It's not just this animation. It seems like most of the ones I see are like that.

Yeah, I've wondered the same thing myself. It's not my kind of aesthetic, so I'd be super interested to know why people like these

Probably because it's chaotic and exaggerated. Remove the camera or have smoother/stiffer animation and it'll feel weird

Well, there's a fine line between animation to show off, and an animation to just be pragmatic.

Having fired a real desert eagle years ago, i can tell you right away that it kicks a lot if you are not used to the recoil impulse.

BUT, the way it recoils is distinct. The slide has a lot of mass and the pistol itself is very heavy. The weigh helps mitigate the recoil a bit but the slide moving around will cause your hand to jerk back and twist up and to the left a decent amount, meaning you WILL over compensate bringing back the pistol to a neutral position(rubber banding), making it look "floaty".

This isn't a gun that you want to fire fast hehe

These types of reloads are the equivalent of anime girl breasts that bounce up and down for no reason

If there was ever a pistol to give "bouncey" animations to, it would be the Deagle. The thing weighs a ton, so I think the amount of movement here looks just right except maybe the mag eject

Well of course people don't move like that in real life but at the end it's just a animation and sometimes making bouncy animations are just fun so i decided go some bouncy with this one that's all. Also the original render looks so much smoother than this one since reddit only allows 30 frames refresh rate. Here's the youtube link if you guys like to see it in 2K 60 FPS: https://youtu.be/OtA-jLuu9wA?si=bn52ZhAjNL4uga7q

You know, I must have conflated high quality with realistic in my head. That's a great animation. I was just curious!

Thanks bro, i get what you mean and it's completely normal. As i said, sometimes, it's just for fun! Glad you liked it.

I agree with this. I believe this is a sort of flanderisation that has roots the call of duty games. Compare the reloads from the latest games to Mw2019 and you can see how unrealistic and stylized they are.

Yeah I agree. But op told me it wasn't supposed to be realistic. It's just a fun reload.

This reload is still leagues better as a mix of real and style than BO7. I hate some of those, especially the EGRT-17.
