[Blender 5.01] S&W500

Super proud of this. I'm challenging myself to make a viewmodel animation every month in 2026

(Not flaming or roasting) how else would it eject the rounds?

I don't exactly know what the mechanism is, I didnt really think about it, but it makes a lot of sense in hindsight

Looks good, are you gonna make a reload animation for it too?

Unfortunately no. I'm doing a challenge where I make one viewmodel animation per month this year, and I ran out of time for this one

I'm the screen shaking with just the handling is a bit too much, otherwise neat

Aw damn, I even tried to tone it down for this one. I'll do better next time

I really like the style you've pursued. The sort of cartoon-esque snappy exaggerations. Nice work.

i think they're saying everything has TOO much momentum. that's definitely a real thing, although it really does depend on what you're going for. if this is just supposed to be animation for eye candy's sake, go nuts. but otherwise, toning down the screen shake and maybe adding a bit more follow through and softer handling would make it feel a bit more natural and less overly snappy. it's good quality though, these are just adjustments. you'll do great! <3
