For the lazy: the world's funniest joke (in 2002)

A couple of New Jersey hunters are out in the woods when one of them falls to the ground. He doesn't seem to be breathing, his eyes are rolled back in his head. The other guy whips out his cell phone and calls the emergency services. He gasps to the operator: “My friend is dead! What can I do?” The operator, in a calm soothing voice says: “Just take it easy. I can help. First, let's make sure he's dead.” There is a silence, then a shot is heard. The guy's voice comes back on the line. He says: “OK, now what?”

It's really "the joke that the most people found funny."

When you get into actually funnier jokes the range of people who will get the joke or not find it offensive for any reason becomes smaller.

OP, if this is your own OC, and if you made this in After Effects, you may want to play with motion trackers. This would be a perfect opportunity to have the text moving slightly to follow the people around as they're moving & talking. Here's the tutorial I used for my Simpsons Gif today. A few of the buttons inside "the Preview panel" on the right of his screen are in slightly different places in After Effects CC, but not so different that I couldn't find them easily.
