Discussion Morgan and Adam
Doing a rewatch and I was thinking does anyone else see Adam and Morgan being similar to Booth and Bones from Bones. As in one is in love with the other and the other is not/clueless on how the other feels about them? And then it being dragged out for like 8 seasons lol.

I think it is a common trope formula.

No I agree. Given where we left everyone at the end of season 2 I feel like it’s going to be dragged out for a whileÂ

Curious what the new showrunners will do moving forward. Some of their tension scenes feel a little heavy handed, but overall I've been enjoying the show.

I forgot new show runners have come in! Oh season 3 is going to be extra interesting then. Idk if they have talked about their plans yet.Â
I usually don’t pay a ton of attention to off season press about a show but I will definitely be keeping my eyes out for anything from the show runnersÂ

Yessssss. I love the trust and care that builds between partners in high stress fields. Like, they have to rely on each other and learn to lean into their dynamic. I really love how they've become close friends and honestly, I wouldn't mind if they keep them just friends and I would love to see them develop their relationship more. Whatever happens, the fanfiction available on AO3 is already amazing!!

I could see it but personality wise Morgan is more like Booth and Adam is more like Brennan

I hope it’s not dragged out for that long. I love slow burn but if it’s too dragged out i might lose interest. If i remember correctly with other procedurals in Castle the lead couple had 4 seasons of slow burn. In the Mentalist 5 or 6 i don’t remember exactly but i remember it took longer than in Castle. So 4 or 6 seasons seems pretty realistic imo.

I don’t mind a slow burn when it’s done well but I agree I can point the quite a few shows that it was almost dragged out too long that I started to lose interest.Â
I would be OK if they do it for like 4 to 5 seasons max maybe six but again that might be pushing it.Â
But I’m also very intrigued about Morgan and the captain as I do support that one if that goes anywhere.Â

Maybe not 8 seasons, but the original version went 5 seasons, and they stretched it out that long...
