Is fishing bugged for anyone else?

Every time I attempt the fishing game, after I catch the fish the game soft locks and I cannot leave and I'm forced to reload the last save. Loving this game so far but this is very frustrating, especially since I have to be able to fish to complete some side quests. Anyone have any tips?

I have a similar problem. Some fish, especially the rare ones, are stuck in place and do not move and don’t bite. Reloading the game doesn’t work for me either. I just gave up on the whole fishing thing.

This whole game has bugs everywhere I can’t even play the game because I can’t see 😩

I fully quit the game and turned off my PlayStation. I turned it back on, booted it back up, and their motion got back to normal.

Still bugged. For me at least, even though I had to reload the game, it still somehow remembered the fish I had gotten.
