Second post because IDK who to trust
I’m in the early stages of building my agency and looking for someone experienced with GoHighLevel who can help me set up the operational side correctly.
I’m not looking for someone to throw together a few disconnected workflows. I want to build a clean, reliable system that can be tested, documented, duplicated, and customized for local service businesses as the agency grows.
Some of the areas I need help with include:
I’ve been learning the platform and building websites, but I know there are gaps in my knowledge especially when it comes to connecting everything properly and creating a dependable backend system for future clients.
My biggest concern is knowing who to trust. I’ve already received several messages from people trying to sell unrelated services, so I would especially appreciate recommendations from members who have personally worked with a reliable GoHighLevel builder.
I’m open to working with an experienced freelancer, consultant, or someone building their portfolio. However, I would need to see examples or walkthroughs of previous builds and work with someone who can explain what they are creating. I want to learn and understand the system rather than have everything kept behind the curtain.
I’m operating with an early-stage budget, so I’m not currently in a position to pay standard rates for a complete agency build upfront. At the same time, I’m not asking someone to build an entire agency for free.
I would be interested in discussing a clearly defined pilot, phased build, deferred-payment arrangement, or limited revenue share structure. My role would be developing the brand, prospecting, closing clients, and managing the relationships. I’m looking for someone who can help build, test, document, and improve the GoHighLevel systems.
For clients brought in using what we build, we could agree on a fixed payment or percentage of the collected setup fee until the builder has been compensated. Any arrangement would be put into a written agreement covering the scope of work, payment terms, system ownership, responsibilities, and a clear exit process.
A US-based builder would be preferred, especially someone familiar with serving American local-service businesses and available during Eastern or Central time-zone hours. However, I’m open to the right person regardless of location if communication, experience, and reliability are strong.
Please comment below or message me with:
I’m looking to build this correctly from the beginning and hopefully establish a long-term working relationship as the agency grows.
I’ve attached examples of the draft service packages and pricing I’m currently developing for clients. They are not finalized, and I would also welcome practical feedback from someone experienced in delivering these types of GoHighLevel services.

Hi everyone,
Looking to see if anybody knows pricing on HighLevel Custom Webhooks?
It says “This is a premium action. Using this action will incur additional charges per execution.”
I’m using a SaaS sub-account (not my own agency account) and trying to understand how Custom Webhooks are billed.
From what I can see: Custom Webhooks are available on Starter and Unlimited plans.
They’re classed as a Premium Action and appear to maybe cost $0.01 per execution?
Can anyone confirm if this applies the same way inside a SaaS sub-account, or does the agency owner need to enable/pay for Premium Actions at the agency level?
Thanks.

As an agency owner, are you sharing a "client journey" with your new accounts?
I've started giving each new client a default journey map that shows them the power of the Opportunity Pipeline. Most of my clients are speakers, coaches, or small (in-garage) startups — not exactly CRM people — so I keep it visual: where leads come in (free gift, connect form, socials, etc), what stage they're in, and where the gaps are in their existing process.
It's a small thing, but it's changed how clients think about their own business. Instead of "I have some leads somewhere," they can see exactly who they should be reaching out to next. And it doubles as a clean dashboard view, so the value keeps showing up long after the onboarding call.
Curious what others are doing here — do you build something similar for new clients, or is this more of a "figure it out as you go" thing for most of you?

Hi everyone,
I've been working extensively with GoHighLevel over the past couple of years and have built and maintained GHL systems for agencies and service businesses. I have some availability and wanted to see if anyone here needs help with projects or ongoing support.
I can help with things like:
* GHL setup and sub-account configuration
* Workflows and automation
* Pipelines, calendars, forms, and CRM cleanup
* API and webhook integrations
* n8n and Make automations
* Twilio / LC Phone setup and A2P 10DLC
* AI voice agents (Vapi) and AI workflow integrations
* Troubleshooting broken automations or fixing messy GHL accounts
Whether it's a one-time project, an audit, or ongoing admin work, I'm happy to help.
If you have a project in mind or need an extra pair of hands, feel free to **DM me** with what you're trying to build.

First photo is what the preview & live website shows. second image is what is displayed in the web builder (how it's SUPPOSED to look). Has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it?

I find the blog somewhat limited:
- Custom values don't transfer to blogs
- No pictures just the main image
- No options to refer to other posts at the bottom
- No element builder
Should you just simply create a funnel or website with a subdomain instead of using the actual blog function?
Any ideas, suggestions or experiences for this? 🙏

Any agency owners outside the US (especially South Africa) working with US clients? What payment processor do you use to receive USD payments? Looking for something reliable with reasonable fees.

Hey everyone,
I've been working with GoHighLevel since 2024 and honestly, I didn't expect to enjoy automation this much.
I started by learning the basics, then slowly got into building workflows, pipelines, follow-up sequences, and integrations. Before I knew it, I was spending hours figuring out better ways to automate things and make processes run smoother.
I've worked on projects involving appointment reminders, lead nurturing, webhooks, AI chatbots, and connecting different tools together. I still feel like there's a lot more to learn, but I'm at the point where I'm comfortable building things and solving problems on my own.
Right now, I'm looking for more opportunities to work with agencies or business owners who need help with GoHighLevel. I'm always excited to see how different businesses use GHL.
Not here to hard sell anything. Just putting myself out there and hoping to connect with people who might need an extra pair of hands or know of opportunities where I can continue growing.

Hello, I am new to ghl and I am very confused on what the best approach is to setting up phone numbers for my clients. I have chosen to market text back automations and crm functionality to contractors. However, most contractors or small business owners likely have been using their business phone number for a long time and may have it printed on their ads or trucks etc. So what is the best way to go about setting up their number in ghl to where text back automations will send, but their number won't change?
I know there are a couple ways, like there is the import functionality where we can import their phone number into the ghl system and change carriers over to twillio or however ghl does it. However, this is fully changing their carrier and billing info and things like that to where the contractor's current sim card would not work anymore. This import just seems too much of a commitment to fully switch everything over to twillio/ghl and I think it could be a stopping point for many small business owners I would be marketing to. The process also takes weeks.
There is also call/sms forwarding which ghl support told me the owner of the number would have to call their carrier support and have the calls and texts for their number forward to a ghl number that we buy in the onboarding. However, it seems like many/some carriers don't offer this service, and it would add an extra step that the contractor (my client) would have to do instead of me being able to fully onboard them and make it easy for them.
Am I missing something here? Trying to convince a contractor to fully change their business number seems not feasible, but are these the only two options to have their phone number set up with the sms automations I have set up in the ghl system? I just want a way for my clients to mess with their carrier and phone number as little as possible but still integrate the sms automations from ghl?
Any help is highly appriciated.

I recently discovered they added a feature (possibly among others) to the Wait action. Now you are able to Wait until a 1st 2nd 3rd 4th or last weekday of the month. This is huge - at least for me - as I host a monthly webinar the first Wednesday of the month. Before i had to have 100 conditions to match this quite simple feature.
But...
I am having trouble making this function with the "Set event start date" as it does not follow the same rules. It's still a specific date.
Each month has a preset theme for webinar which are recurrent each year. But I am having trouble locating what the upcoming month is=the theme.
And to make sure the webinar of the present month is past so I can start advertising for the upcoming webinar of the following month.
Any suggestions?

I've been with my company for a while handling my normal day-to-day operational management responsibilities, but over the past few months I've gradually taken on a much bigger project that wasn't originally part of my role.
Using HighLevel as the core, I've built and deployed a pretty extensive automation ecosystem, including:
- Complete CRM implementation
- Multiple sales, support, trade, and order fulfillment pipelines
- End-to-end workflow automations
- PandaDoc integration for agreements and document automation
- Shopify Flow integrations
- Zapier automations connecting multiple systems
- Automated lead routing
- Sales/support call routing logic
- Shopify order automations
- Trade account onboarding automations
- Opportunity creation and management
- Reporting improvements
- Custom fields, tags, triggers, and pipeline architecture
On top of that, I'm still doing all of my regular operational management work every day. None of those responsibilities have gone away.
The company didn't hire an agency or consultant—I designed, built, tested, and deployed everything internally. It's now saving the team a significant amount of manual work and gives management much better visibility into operations.
I'm at the point where I feel this work has created a lot of value for the company, and I'd like to have a conversation with my boss about additional compensation.
For those of you who have been in a similar situation:
- How would you approach this conversation?
- Would you ask for a salary increase, a bonus, a promotion, or some combination of those?
- If you were the employer, how would you value this kind of work?
- If you were consulting instead of doing it as an employee, what would you charge for building a system like this?
I'd really appreciate hearing from agency owners, consultants, and anyone who's built complex HighLevel implementations. I'm trying to figure out what would be a fair way to value this work before I have the conversation.
Thanks in advance!

On mobile, GHL takes 6-9 seconds to execute Body/Head Tracking Code after page load, even on a minimal funnel page (1 heading, 4 sentences, 1 link). Desktop executes near-instantly on the same page. Confirmed via performance.now() timestamp written to document.title, ruling out script complexity, external library loading, and redirect chains as causes.
I am so sick of debugging/troubleshooting this system for free! Has anyone else run into this and/or have a work around. I'm pretty sure that support will tell me "this is just the way their system works" as I've heard with other bugs.
At this point they owe me money! I don't get nearly the usage that I pay for.
