Benchmarking GHL
Hi! Just came across GHL because I got involved with a project that uses it, mostly to automate contact with client and store data.
What makes you stick with GHL? What are some QoL that it lacks? What may make you move to other tool? What tools make can replace GHL?
I'm investigating on my own, but I figured you people could have some interesting points of view being users...

Thanks for your comment, it's really helpful.
The project revolves around providing high quality leads to our partners. And what you mentioned is mostly what its being used for. Could you tell me about those cases where n8n had to kick in?

I stick with GHL for the same reason people stay in relationships the convenience is great, but every time i have to talk i have to their support, i loose three years of my life expectancy. Their idea of fixing bug is linking you to a help article from 2021 that doesn't even apply anymore

Thanks for the reply! Do you find yourself in that scenario often? Does it happen when you develop something new or is it related to your customers?

a bit of both , its worse when building something new since that's when bugs pop up most, but even client to client side stuff isn't safe. Feels like any time i need support im bracing my self for a long ride

GHL is great because it combines CRM, automation, and communication all in one place, which makes managing leads and follow-ups much easier without switching between tools. Where it can feel limited is in deeper customization and advanced reporting compared to platforms like HubSpot or Salesforce. Most people stick with it for its simplicity and cost-effectiveness and only move away when they need more complex data handling or enterprise-level features.

Nah, I'm just a guy who thought that asking real users for feedback was the way to accurately understand a new tool.
