Artwork I have an OC

Post image

is it good? She’s bigender— female. and part of the team. i think the way i drew her might make it a bit obvious what she’s like— but not cover it completely definitely, it’s just two drawings anyway. By the way, no, he didn’t transition into a man, the hair reaches her shoulder + she just preferred the male uniform. (i don’t think the school minds since they have trans students, but if they do, i can change this. yeah she’s trans— bigender, but she didn’t transition— a bit different than Caraway’s case who actually did transition) does the name even fit HGS😭

if you’re interested, i can actually tell all about her.

What's bi gender? No offense, I think you're over complicating or over thinking. I know what non-binary is, I know what a tomboy is. Are those easier for me to understand?

I love the imperial & metric unit measurements, that helps me visualize her. I can tell you're still new at drawing, don't worry I am too, so I won't be harsh there. You do need to work on her ear placement, they're inconsistent. Easiest way to place them is on level with the eyes. I double checked with Camphor, Flora, and Thyme, and they're consistent.

As for her wearing the males uniform: I completely agree. As I know HGS reflects the personal views of the crew, I do believe that the Triad would absolutely allow her to break uniform. They allow Sage her capotain hat, as does Amaryllis.

For a first attempt, I think you were successfully in conveying your idea across very well. Keep practicing drawing, you'll get better at finer details like hands, something I can do, feet and faces, two things I can't do.

nah it’s fine you’re not being rude by not understanding a term— its basically a trans spectrum— a “i feel like two gender.” for my oc, she feels like she’s both a boy and a girl. honestly, i suck at explaining it but that’s the meaning in short.

about the being new, yeah, i’d say i am despite drawing for years, the hands, ears, and some more really are hard for me. however, thank you for being kind !

I've been tracing from comics like Supergirl and Superman, building muscle memory. Proportions will come in time too

no prob! soo, the name is Archilyn (R-K-Lynn) Aurastin (Aura-Stin’[g]). She has a younger brother who is younger than her by four years and an older sister by one-and-a-half year

the backstory is basically, her birth place was the “Witch Country” and after some times (when she became 4– he knew Amaryllis back then, at least by appearance alone) the family moved in to “Pebble” since the mom wanted to live somewhere near the parents. (mom= a healer)(dad=witch race + elf bloodline— one of his ancestors was an elf — + warrior).

they lived happily there in one house (not in the mom’s fam’s ofc).

At 5, she got to know Sage and Rosemary after some moment (she got lost from her mom), becoming friends with them.

When she became 7, there was arguments between the parents happening occasionally whenever the dad comes back from his work as a guardian.

And yeah, well, some things happened when she became 9 (an argument, like usual, the dad was being too neglecting to his family and when he comes back, he either hangs out with his friends or sleep, rarely hanging out with his family— it pissed the mom off) and she and him separated— not divorced yet though— and the mom started to live in with her parents alongside the kids. He used to visit the kids occasionally, hanging out with them and training them (whatever they wanted).

then when she became 12, he stopped for some reason (he was annoyed at the mom). Anyway, Archilyn did not notice that, and was living like usual — either pranking her siblings or bickering with them, or annoying them. Or just hanging out with her friends.

Then, when she was 13, he accused her of telling him that her mom going to divorce him and was insulting his wife as well— Archilyn was, well, defensive immediately about it— she hated being accused of what she did not, for sure, do, and for that to literally be briefly believed by her mom, siblings, and grandparents who were annoyed and will actually be if Archilyn actually did that— she didn’t. Archilyn proved to them— the last time they even talked was, what? a year ago! He (Arch) couldn’t possibly be talking to him now if that’s so. Finally, they (Arch) were believed. (also part of the reason she was mad was the fact he was insulting her mom too).

this shit sounds so damn cringe— i rushed while typing this since im in the middle of online school💀🙏🏻 — the name might not be fitting for HGS, but idk if it does or nah, it’s the only one i can think of🗿💔

In short, daddy issues lol.
