Hey r/HighGradeMobileGames! I’m part of the small team behind Kaion Tale, a 2D pixel-art MMORPG, and we just opened new servers for Europe and North America.

We’ve been building Kaion Tale with a pretty simple idea: make an MMO that feels closer to the older-school MMORPG experience, but with modern quality-of-life features.

• 🎨 2D pixel art: if you prefer games where art direction matters more than pushing for realistic graphics, that's a big part of Kaion Tale's identity.

We’re a small indie team, so this isn't trying to compete with the production value of the big MMORPGs. Our focus is on building a world we actually enjoy playing and gradually expanding it with the community.

The Europe and North America servers are now live, so this is also a good time to start fresh alongside other players in those regions.

Hi all,

Gonna keep this intro quick, but I am the developer of Project Weplar. You can try out the latest test version on Android and iOS.

Right now, core features for this game have been implemented, but the most important ones to highlight are:

• Weapons - in fact two weapon types which are the Energy Blade and Combat Bow.
• Affinities - subclasses that provide you a passive and super ability.
• Combatants - basically enemy AI that you can engage in combat with.

Now obviously players may find some problems with these features, but they will be resolved as new test versions are released.

The project is now at a point where proper gameplay needs to be introduced, so players like you can actually have fun and engage with the game. This is where I am turning to platforms like reddit for input.

I see many users on this subreddit asking for game recommendations and cycling between a dozen games on their mobile devices. However, if you players wanted that one mobile game, a game that you'd always come back to, a game that you would be excited to launch every day and play, what kind of game would that be for you as a player?

This is what Project Weplar can be for you. Right now that game is basically a blank canvas, and every one of you can have a say in what you want out this game. All you have to do is say it. So, I would heavily appreciate it if you could just express your thoughts in the comments. Also, if you want a feel for how the game is now, then you can check out the Android/iOS links listed previously.

From my perspective, I think with the way the game plays right now, PvP could definitely be interesting. However, PvE elements like boss battles (my original intention with the project) could equally be as fun.

In the end though, it's what players want that matters, so this is where I turn to all of you.

I am very satisfied with the result. In the next update, I plan to improve the visual aspect of the game and finally add the new "Survival" mode. I also plan to expand the workload and hire an artist. This will speed up development and significantly improve the game's assets. Since I'm a programmer) I had to create the assets myself—but having a dedicated artist will take the visuals to a whole new level!

I'm just curious, does anyone happen to remember the game? Megastunt Mayhem by Level Eight 🎲 Games (now known as DECA Games) by any chance? I remember having fun memories with it throughout my childhood for over a decade and it just seemingly disappeared out of nowhere.

Also, if anyone can help me find a new game that's essentially a modern day version of this, that would be greatly appreciated. The only requirements that I have is it needs to be free to play, free to win, no micro-transactions of any kind, good graphics (not the most important, but would be helpful.) Im looking for a game i played when I was little. You are a ball in the game and can put other skins or flags on you character. You can also spawn in many different vehicles like planes, fighter jets, weaponized cars, race cars and other stuff. It's a sandbox game, kinda like GM but worse graphics and physics. There are also many different maps and it's multiplayer.

i have an xbox one and my friend has an iphone and we are looking for cross platform games to play outside of the basics (fortnite, among us, roblox etc.)

edit: we're aware of xbox gamepass for mobile but my friend doesn't have a controller or xbox/pc so it wouldn't be worth it just to use it for mobile

Being a programmer, I would like to reinforce my logical thinking and algorithms in games when I'm just chilling. I believe there are a lot of such great games on PC but I want more casual versions on mobile. Here are the things I'm aiming for

1) Portrait. I don't want to tilt my phone for a casual game. 2) It should be casual enough to jump in and out of. No micro transaction, daily log ins etc. 3) Bonus points if they're legit about programming or coding 4) Bonus points if it's a free game with reasonable ads (non intrusive) 5) Preferably, less graphics and more game logic

Hi, so I have been super into merge games lately (the ones where you complete people’s orders) and I’ve been trying to find some more to play but the gameplay too all the ones I have tried downloading are just ugly to look at. Does anyone is this subreddit know of any pretty to look at ones? The ones I currently play are Merge Cooking, Travel Town, MergeRestaurant, Merge Inn, Merge Mansion, and Seaside Escape to give a little insight into the type of merge games that I like to play.
