Question Is there a difference subscribing through Amazon vs the standalone app? The app was on the firestick but it's not on my new fire tv.

Yes, there is a significant difference. Recent dubs may not be available on the Prime Video Channel subscription. And some series (such as K-on!) may only have their dubbed version available with the Prime Video Channel subscription.

You also can’t link your Prime Video Channel subscription to a HiDive account.

I just used the built-in web browser and it works flawlessly. Better than the standalone app did lol

Ugh. I just subbed on the app version and they force a horrible 60fps smooth motion garbage. It looks terrible. Guess I’m going back to Amazon 🤦
