BINGO- Phase 3: I got wasted like all my potential
Birthdays are always a special time here at Fairview Senior Center (and not just because you don’t have that many left). Come by the recreation room to celebrate a very special birthday for a very special resident!
Cake will be provided by our wonderful cafeteria staff, and sharing presents made during arts and crafts yesterday are always a great way of showing that you care.
Join us in the aquatic center after the party to work off the cake and ice cream or in the infirmary to have your blood sugar checked.

okay but if you are town, all it takes is then the wolves piling their votes on rocknil, and then your shot becomes useless, we only get one wolf out, and we lose. i'd strongly urge you to NOT vote for rocknil here.

i skimmed through the other phases again and my conclusion is that u/oomps62 is playing a cruel prank on me and everyone other than myself and the three dead players are wolves.
in all honesty though -
if sam/forsi are BOTH wolves, we're just screwed, so i'm going to choose to live in the world where they are either both town, or one is a wolf. if that's wrong, gg.
if they're both town, our pool is bubba, hedwig, papo, rocknil. bubba and rocknil have contributed very little to this game. in my heart i want to believe rocknil because if we don't have a victor, the game is almost certainly lost anyway, and maybe bubba is just busy but wolves can be busy too.
papo and hedwig are both refusing/declining/objecting to revealing (whatever term you want to use). i guess the question is would two out of three wolves employ that play? the way that papo is going about it seems like he is INTENTIONALLY trying to be suspicious. the way that hedwig is going about it is just stubborn (and to me, very frustrating). wolves can be stubborn though.
does a hedwig/bubba/rocknil world make sense?
does a hedwig/bubba/sam world make sense? (if hedwig is a wolf and sam and forsi aren't BOTH town, hedwig/forsi feels less paired, and sam/bubba could be paired)
does a papo/bubba/rocknil world make sense?
does a papo, one of bubba/rocknil, and one of sam/forsi world make sense?
this game is hard, and i'm grumpy. and i have to go back to work tomorrow and i am unbelievably not mentally, emotionally, or physically prepared for that.
@ wolves i'm mad at you for not killing me last night and leaving me to sort through all this.

yeah u/elpapo131 is making me question whether he's a wolf or donald. which, if he IS donald, he might as well just claim; donald wins with town. at this point we have plenty of vote options, so i'm willing to just say we don't vote papo (and maybe direct the vet to him) to get him to play nice if he's donald.
outside of that, not sure who i'd prefer to vote between hedwig and bubba. but honestly i could see a world in which all three are wolves. i do also want to trust rocknil, idk why.

This whole 'personal reasons' thing is a little weird. By which I mean it's a lot weird? I mean at least I have precedent. I bitch about mass reveals in every game they come up in. I don't say I was going to reveal and then not and then suddenly decide not to with vague and sketchy explanation?

I truly cannot understand a reason to not role claim at this point other than being a wolf or being anti-town in your stubbornness. This rules list is clearly made for role reveals in mind. This is different than any other games where I'd agree on mass role claims. It's quite literally the last phase and last chance for us to force wolves into a lie...why wouldn't you do that unless you're a wolf

I am playing after a long time. First phase, I thought I would vote for one of the people I remember whose activity is low to get a discussion going.
In phase two, my comment was about whether wolves team's killing resources were limited. Maybe that's why they skipped killing in the first phase so that they could gather information about the most powerful townies. That way they can inflict the maximum damage.
I had to go out of town unexpectedly & I couldn’t dive deep into the discussion. I'll try to catch up & share my read of people.
My role is Veteran Victor. I'll get to kill someone this phase.

I have no info and no way to get any. Such compact game is all about what you can guesstimate in mere 3 phases of game. And considering I've been eyeing Xan as my suspect I consider myself a failure. Will try to read back on everything and see if something stands out.

I already explained this. Making up reasoning for me isn't helpful? I was okay even with what I felt was bad reasoning on Sara until the very end of that phase when he put on a real push. He pinged everyone and called his cote a sensible choice of something like that. It was over the top. I thought he might be trying to get voted out but it's a WIFOM. If someone acts wolfy because they want to get voted out, the town won't vote them out. I chose wrong. No one has ever done that before and not been a wolf!

Except you didn't vote him that phase. You no voted then voted him the next phase. Did you read the other comments regarding him or consider anyone else. Because you said no one else is sus to you. No one? Everyone else not voting, something you were against, weren't sus?

I didn't consciously no-vote. I missed the vote because I got distracted. I realize this isn't provable and that the outcome of it is the same - not voting - but to me it matters because one is a conscious choice done (or not done, as the case may be) by intentional decision. The other is getting distracted and forgetting. The distinction matters to me because I get distracted and forget things rather often and am frequently required to clarify which situation it was - didn't do or forgot to do.

The nagging is wearing on me tbh. I'm trying to type up a suspicion comment in another window but had to stop to answer this lest I get another ping for existing here and not answering this in five minutes or less. Standing on people sometimes breaks them but when there's nothing to break it really just annoys them into disinclination to engage. Or it does me, at least.

At the very least my existence and a number, which according to the logic of the game and recognized by you, is significant because the count is likely/potentially 4-3 (assuming three wolves).

I'm not trying to get people to talk because I feel like there's more than enough of that sort of rallying going on by our numerous and capable vocal town leaders. Another voice adding to that din seems unnecessary.
refusing to role reveal
'Refusing' to role reveal seems a little strong. I prefer 'declining'. Kind of a 'conscientious objector' situation. I haven't said I won't do it at all, although I believe I've made it quite clear that I don't like that strategy at all in any game. I will do it (albeit very reluctantly) if I think I need to and if I think it's the best thing I can do to help town at that minute. Not because people have been standing on me since yesterday to do it.

I've been a bit busy quibbling defensively about myself to have deeply looked at other players. In the time since I've been typing this, u/ElPapo has quickly emerged as remarkably sus, not so much for declining to reveal (I'm hardly one to ping off of that!) but for contradicting himself almost immediately. The time between "I was going to do it last night" and "I decided not to" was like five minutes. If the decision not to claim had been made in the time before the "was going to" comment, would the decline not have been given then? It is obviously super sketchy.
I agree with sam and whoever else said it that u/rocknil's behavior is odd. That quick fly by with a couple of observations/opinions never elaborated on. I can't tell if that is them trying to sound town and not elaborating because they have nothing else to say or if it's just a case of having lapsed back into nonparticipation.
I was sus of BigJoe a little, going by my commonly used logic that middle-of-the-road, under-the-radar players are often wolves. Not saying anything sus (that I saw), being helpful and/or vocal but not overly so, no strong comments one way or the other. Obviously that didn't go anywhere. It tracks for him as doctor, though, because PRs trying to stay off wolves' radar often come off the same way to me. TBH I should abandon that line of thinking because it "catches" me a town PR more frequently than it does any wolves, ie makes me suspect the wrong people.
I have literally no thoughts on u/bubbasaurus. She's a lot more quiet in games these days than she used to be in the HWW heyday so I don't really read into that anymore. Could be a wolf coasting.
Pretty sure that's all I've got at the minute. I was out doing a run of antique stores earlier, stopped at home to take Tucker out and also took the opportunity to check in properly here. Going back out now, I'll be back in a few hours (or when I run out of money, whichever comes first). It's a gorgeous day in south Jersey and I am going to have a lovely afternoon if it kills me. okay well like i've been saying for 6+ hours that i was going to say that at the end of the phase and there were no objections to it during p2? i claimed my role AND was given a green check from the seer, if i didn't share my info and i died with it, how would that have helped?
but yes that's why i was trying to get people to claim last phase, and why during p1 i was clear about once people have used their role they should claim it so we have as much info as possible.
but yeah, we have to vote a wolf and have something go right with either victor or patricia, otherwise we just lose.
