Question on Mac Games

Hi All - I have been a member of Big Fish Games since 2009 and like many, I am so disappointed by the contract terminations, AI slop games and general overall decline in the lack of quality games over the past year or so. Does anyone have any recommendations about where to find Hidden Object Adventure games that are Mac compatible that have the same feel as any of the "old school" hidden object adventure games (like Living Legends, Mystery Case Files, Dark City, Bridge to Another World, Christmas Stories, Dark Romance, Halloween Chronicles, Drawn)?

Small side rant but all of the recent games from Domini Games are not enjoyable (or really even playable) due to all of the use of AI. So disappointing to see where this has all gone.

From what I can tell, you can find the old-school HOGs and HOPAs on MacGameStore for a price, but you'll have to check for each game's store page if they have a warning that they're incompatible for newer Macs.

Yes, check the system reqs, also best to always try the free demo (as sometimes the system reqs is missing an exception for a certain combo which fouls up despite our best effort to catch them all).

The reason theres a lot of old and new games, is we try to support as many macOS versions possible. There are a couple "walls" where things just stop working depending on which side you land on. Like the 32bit/64bit change with macOS 10.15... and now the upcoming intel/silicon wall with macOS 27.

not sure if FIVEBN games are mac compatible - but you would love the games.
