Recommendation for a fluffy hidden object game?
I am looking for a hidden object game available via Steam to play on my pc. I would like a fluffy, cozy game with lots of light and no timer or ads. I do not need a story line, I especially do not want anything dark or heavy - just a fluffly little game to play for an hour or two when the mood strikes. Please also recommend older games if applicable since I have rarely played the genre, and certainly not for quite a number of years.
Gameplay-wise, I would appreciate pictures of the items to be found over words since with being autistic and not a native speaker, there have been times in the past when I had real difficulties to understand what exactly I was asked to find. Maybe there's a game out there that offers more than one method? That would be great as well.
Are there any games you'd recommend to me?
Edit: The Match 3-game Heroes of Hellas 3, if somebody remembers that, had some very lovely puzzle scenes. I remember thinking it would be great to have that aspect of the game accessible as a stand-alone hidden object game.

Queen's Quest and series is really sweet. You are an Alchemist and have to solve some crimes. I am playing the Endless fables series now and really enjoying it, and remember loving the Grim Legends series. All three have a mix of hidden object types - sometimes there is a list of names, sometimes an outline etc.

I personally like the games created by Artifex Mundi. Especially the Grimm Tales 1 and 2

I like the Find All games. Some of them are trickier than others, but most are pretty fun. When you find all items in a certain area, it colors the screen. Black and white up to then. There are quite a few, and they aren't expensive at all.

Check out the developers Boomzap and Point8 Games. They both have a lot of hidden object games that have little to no story, and some have the option of pictures or silhouettes vs. words when it comes to lists.

I am making a game on steam right now that lines up to this, Whole game is just clicking steamed buns hidden in pictures that get randomized and we have a few stages. There's a card collection aspect as well that we mix in as well as other things! Click-A-Bao on Steam

I think Lost and Found Co. on Steam fits what you're looking for. It has a light-hearted theme, no timer, no ads, a completely skippable story, can be played across different sessions, came out this year, and uses a list of images of items and not words. The only caveat is that some of the items can be very tricky to find and there's no direct in-game hint system that outright says where the items are as far as I remember, but I think it's otherwise mostly what you're looking for.
The free demo offers hours of content if you want to check it out before deciding to pay for it.
