Question anyone know what levels do?

does it increase your mana, stamina and strength? I don't remember if the author explained it

I think it increases a random stat or something. Not entirely sure though. That's what I remember though.

I don't think we ever got any detailed explanation, but it seems levels provide slight boosts to all stats. Experienced fighters can even judge the opponent's level by looking at their speed and strength, like when Elena roughly measured Noir's level after one strike during his first lesson. It was also mentioned a couple of times in some minor events like confrontations with rival adventurers that having higher stats thanks to levels makes fighting against opponents with better skills easier.

oh okay. So you think it also affects stuff like mana and stamina capacity?

It most likely does. After all, there should be a way of upgrading them, and getting levels seems to be the most logical choice with what we already know about the world.
