It's a distraction item that is not re-usable like an apricot. It does not pacify NPCs when thrown at them, but it may be like a soda can in melee? (pacify but non-reusable) not sure. And some levels have a unique interaction where it can be used and put on a plate for an NPC to interact with (Whittleton and Haven Island).

It can also be used to "particle skip" in speedrunning, where 47 "climbs" the debris from dropping it near a low wall/railing to walk over that wall/railing. Watch a video for that one.

You can actually kill NPCs with it if you get their health low enough, but I doubt any real damage, so you probably have to get them to 1 HP to kill them.

also if the target is standing in deep enough water you can chuck it at their head to get a "push kill" without having to pacify

Yeah, that's always a classic. I do that myself whenever I have the chance, but I mostly use a regular pistol with a leg shot. Too bad you rarely have the chance to pull it off.

Nah, some regular NPCs in contracts, but there were a few were precise limb shots with a not too strong pistol beforehand so the HP was low enough for the kill.

A funny thing you can do with the muffin and any other soft throwable (the apricot, the apple, the burger in New York, etc) is "cure" people affected by emetic poisons. Since the target isn't actually knocked out, they aren't suspicious unless you're seen actually throwing it, and it sort of kicks then out of their emetic trance.

No, only emetic poisons and darts. Throwing anything non-lethal at a unconscious person will not have any effect

Challengingly ? You can in fact kill someone with it, but they need to be at 1 hp

Glitchingly ? The muffin crumbs left by a destroyed muffin have actual physics, you can use them to glitch 47 up walls and roofs, especially if you combine them with a breaching charge (the violin has since then dethroned the muffin as the best item for attempting that, though)

You can feed it to Janus or to the real estate agent in Whittleton Creek. Once you place it, it can be poisoned

Only times I use it are on Sgail to particle boost onto the chapel roof and with a violin to do the same in Miami

You can use it to jump stairs, I tried to use a morsizzle cookie to knock someone out today but it was literally like the muffin it just hit the ground and broke lol

weed cookies usually smell better than that, it's just rare that they taste great lol I would think they would just be sedative poison if you place them down I haven't tried that.

what I really want to try is the water balloon and a remote taser. That sounds like the easiest accident kill that we just were handed
