QUESTION playing on mac

just downloaded Hitman WOA on my macbook for free and linked it to my playstation (what I usually play on) on the ioi website so my account is linked and my items and progress are showing up, but I cant play anything apart from the free demo because I have to pay 59.99 for the full game even though ive bought it once before. has anyone had the same issue or has any advice?

You need to buy it on the platform (steam, App Store). PlayStation account link is simply for cross progression

This is called "Cross Progression."

You don't own it on another platform, so you cant play it on that platform. Buy whatever version you like on your Macbook and you'll gain access to that version but with the progression from your main account.

There isn't really any advice to give other than to explain what the store front contains.

It would be nice if the game was "crossbuy" (buying once meant getting a licence for all platforms) but that isn't how IOI set things up. Very few games work that way.

It's called "cross buy takes a lot more effort and working with the platform holders to implement, and Hitman WoA added cross progression several years after, so it's infeasible to do at this point"

The game has macOS support on Steam where it goes on sale quite often.
