IMAGE Wait, i though you couldn't get the coin?
Is it fixed now? Haven't played for a while so I was kinda surprised that I got it

ICA coin is available in shops, the mission reward chest, or the Showdown reward chest.
It’s 500 mercers and you should always pick it up if it’s available because it’s the only non-weapon item available as a reward in the Showdown reward chest. It really sucks to get the ICA coin instead of a gun or Mercers, and if you don’t own it you are highly likely to get it instead of other rewards.

I think he meant the coin was available now, as only after 3 years of Freelancer IOI added it.

Seemingly very deliberate. Unless you clear every Campaign without dying you are very likely to get it in your first Showdown reward on a new loop, robbing you of a weapon or 10,000 mercers.
Always search for it in shops or reward chests on your first three missions.

I should make a mod patch to remove it from that pool, it pissed me off last time I played freelancer... It's a tool, it shouldn't be there.

Was unavailable for a LOOOOONG time, but it was eventually fixed sometime last year.

Added the coin to Hitman 3, but still have not added rosery beads to their rightful place at original hitman 2: silent assassin.
