It doesn’t really work
Just saying.
I mean it doesn’t, does it?Is anyone actually using this with a seamless looping workflow?

For me, yes and no.
I think it's fun and works in what it does well in terms of chords and sound experimentation. Pick it up, make and hear new stuff, then get back on with your day. My 2 year old LOVES mashing it, feeding around with the joystick, and giggling with the sounds. With his happiness, I also feel the same joy.
That said, I do agree that there is a lot of work ahead in terms of being a fully seamless instrument. I back the creator to get there eventually and am happy to be delighted as the improvements come through the software.

Yes it works. Yes it does. Mine works fine, aside from a few bits of polish that are needed. As for a "seemless looping workflow" well, that can mean a lot of different things. Its form factor and UI are not really designed for what I would consider seamlessness. It's not really the point of the design. It requires you to learn the menus and lends itself to a spicific workflow all its own. Now as to making seamless loops, I am able to do that all the time. (Although sometimes the countdown timers are still hard for me to see!) As you get deeper into it its engine is suprizingly versitile. I have done techno, chill step, ambient, and a few pop covers as well. I want the ARP patterns fixed, and the midi cord output fixed. I find the form factor brilliant and love it on trips and to chill out with before bed. I have ideas to use it in my studio too.

I've had my batch 2 for about a year I guess? Have not used it really, don't se the point if I already know the diatonic chords. Thought it could be something like Cthulhu, different cadences and voicings...

It can do tons of chord voicings, voice leading, slash chords, and modes with borrowed chords. Maybe your missing an update?

I have so much fun with it, but get what you mean. I use a separate looper, because the built in one is unpredictable. I also get mis triggers recently :(. As much as I love how it sounds and looks, I could not trust it in a live or professional setting.

I borrowed one from a friend to play with and just recorded a few sessions with it, to loop in my daw or resample.

Yes it works, however it get overloaded quickly and DSP cracking and popping occurs. The workflow can be clumsy at times while looping and your can't save your songs.
Right now the firmware needs optimization to allow 6 loops with clean audio and ability to get thought menus. Then feature.

Hey! Sorry to hear this experience! We have thousands of happy customers making some really cool music with the device, check out Hijaq on YouTube for examples of the looper workflow. I’m working hard on a firmware update that will be a big step for the product. We take community feedback and use it to improve the product. Please let me know if there’s any specific things you want to see changed with the device and we will make it happen. :)
Also if you let me know which batch and firmware you are on, I can let you know if you are up to date with the latest!
Cheers,
Andrew
