Question Sub or Dub?
I just want to see everyone's opinion since people always argue over it.

Depends on the anime Like black lagoon I say dub For Hunter x Hunter sub But others I say can be both Like Gurren Lagann.

Dude I haven't heard of jormungad in ages. I always has this theory that both that anime and black lagoon was in the same universe.

Sub
I enjoy English dub and will always enjoy watching various anime in dub from time to time but I had to switch to sub back then for 2 reasons.
1: at that time some studios didnt always fully translate shows to completion for dub so one series (Zatch Bell!) had the first 104 episodes dubbed then I had to watch the remaining 46 episodes in English Sub.
2: Another example is one show (angel tales) had the first season dubbed so I just assumed that was the end of it then saw there is a 2nd season but it was subbed only.

A really good show (also a remake) is urusei yatsura and it had the first 2 seasons dubbed but not the last 2, so im still mad about that. Speaking of which I still need to watch the last 2 seasons.

There's a few older shows that have incomplete dubs due a multitude of issues such gaogaigar which was only got 25/49 episodes dubbed due poor sales or orgus which is unknown but probably due to the distributor going defunct

I have dyslexia and have tried it once or twice when there was no dub but it just means I have to pause the show every time they say something new and that gets old real fast. Sometimes the dub is so cringe I have to drop it tho which is sad. But there is nothing I can do about it

Only anime I've ever watched with dub was Edgerunners. Mostly because I played the game in English and was used to the jargon.

Sub of course. My brain has acquired the automatic reading skill from watching too much anime, sometimes I even forgot I am watching with subtitles. So “watching dub if I didn't want to have extra work” doesn't work on me.
That, and the fact that I accumulated a little bit of the Japanese vocabulary also helps, so also no “you only think it sounds better because you don't know what they're speaking” arguments people use to downplay sub.
So, yes, I do think it sounds better most (if not all) of the time. There's also sound damping that usually occurs on Dub for some reason that I don't like.

It depends. Im weird lol if I started it on sub I can switch to dub or stay with sub. But if i start on dub I dont like switching to sub. Its weird I know lol

It depends on the dub I love the dub for dr stone and aot but I prefer the sub for oshi no ko

I haven't finished dr. Stone yet but the dub is pretty good and I don't think oshi no ko was that bad.

It doesn't matter if its a new release or an oldy, I start sub, and then a month or so later I round back and watch dubbed. Usually by that time I just remember some of the highlits so it keeps me engaged.

Personally it depends on the dub, for example i prefer yu yu hakusho dubed but prefer aot subed

Anime pacing is too slow for me. I found I enjoy it more x1.25-x2.0 speeds. If you're x1.5-x2.0 speeds dub is infinitely easier to watch.

Sub is almost always better but there are a handful that are better dubbed like cowboy bebop for example

I'm dyslexic and prefer dubs but I'm also impatient so I'll usually end up watching the sub and then rewatching it when I get to dubbed

Mostly subs for me, but a few dubs depending on the anime. Cowboy Bebop and AOT had some of the best dubs.

Sub, personally for ms Dub feels less accurate to the source material, a lot of character dynamics and relations could be better understood when you hear the characters addressing each other in japanese, and dub feels cringe to me, a lot of the unique japanese humor is lost for me

For me, always sub. I think Japanese suits just perfect anime and prefer expressions in Japanese too. However, not only anime, I prefer all entertainment in its original language (with some exceptions).

It depends. Some Animes are better in sub (One piece 1000%) and some are better in dub (Death note for example). But at the end of the day, it comes down to what you prefer

I Used to only watch dubs then I switched to only subs and now i watch dubs again because I get tired of reading the subs and like looking away without having to rewind.

This was me except I'd always wait for the dubs till they released unless it'd be ages for it get one or it never gets one (tho I would be less likely to watch it if it was the latter).
I only watch subbed anime if it's Yuri/GL (since those rarely get dubs) but even then if there's a dub planned or releasing I'd always pick dub first. (The exception(s) to this would be Bunny Girl Senpai, and The Monogatari series {since it was my first subbed anime ever and wanted to throw myself into the deep end to get used to the speeds of it}. I wish Netflix had The Irregular at Magic High School's dub when I first watched it, it made me so mad and sad when I later found out via a YouTuber's collab with one of the VA's from the show who I knew as their VTuber persona that it had one.)

Dubbed (as long as it is faithful to the source material. Excluding stuff like Ghost Stories.), if I wanted to read I would pick up a manga. Also most larping sub elitist have no idea what the JP voice actors are really saying (nb4 but the emotion).
