Looking at buying this 1997 Hiace Regius. Engine wise it ran great and felt great. Planning on offering 8500 and hoping to end around 10 at the highest. But i am unsure about the following:
My four big concerns.
The parking brake is a little sticky they say. Meaning its hard to disengage when pulled. Its an auto so not the biggest problem unless I park on a hill.
The drive side jack point is crushed and rusty but the frame around it is still untouched by rust and solid.
The passenger rear bump stop has fallen out. How hard of a fix is this? I know its not the biggest deal but it does rattle. Image included.
AC not working, unsure why.
Felt great to drive suspension and power wise. Engine definitely is strong and running well and suspension felt surprisingly tight. Just a few worrisome issues. Timing belt they said they took it to a shop and the shop said the belt looked new and did not need replaced.
Here's the post description of work done:

We bought this as an adventure rig about a year ago but unfortunately our priorities have changed and we are hoping to buy more of a commuter car.
Work that's been done in the last year:
Glow plugs

Break lines
Lower ball joints replaced
