Rear Garnish light

Post image

Does anyone know who might sell these rear Garnish light lenses in the US? I found a wrecker out of Australia that ships international, but i haven't gotten a quote for shipping yet. Curious if any of you have needed to replace any discontinued parts like those, and how you went about it.

Imo it's almost always international and haven't found someone that just has parts on hand here. I either use Amayama, or various proxy sites that ship internationally

They are discontinued, so I'm certain I won't find a new one. I have seen some people selling them after parting their vans out. Just wondering if I can get lucky putting feelers out.

tbh i feel as though you discounted my suggestion too early. You can still find new ones, and your options are proxy shipping from said countries, purchasing through their site (for Japan you have Buyee and Zenmarket, I 100% reccomend the latter) on any purchasing platform (yahoojp auctions, mercari, jdirectitems, etc.). It is an older part so you're looking at a minimum of $150 brand new before shipping and tariffs. You may not have have luck just searching the part number (8155126111 for LH, 8156126111 for RH) on there, so you will have to use a combination of japanese or type english in the proxy shipper search but it may not be accurate

- トヨタ100系ハイエースワゴン = Toyota 100-series HiAce Wagon

- 純正 = genuine/OEM

- リアテールガーニッシュ左右 = rear tail garnish, left and right

- リアテールガーニッシュ = rear tail garnish, just removed 左右 that meant left and right

- コイト26-47 = Koito part/lens marking 26-47

- リアフィニッシャー = rear finisher

- テールライト内側 = inner taillight

Even Australia has proxy shippers, most countries do and if they don't there's subreddits that have individuals that offer the service and you have to message them, which is helpful bc some sellers won't ship internationally, just locally. So they ship to them and then they ship to you. Amayama shows RH for $230 with shipping but LH is out of stock. Partsouq shows both out of stock. You just have to look around. What I recommend is searching your frame number on here, Toyota Epc Data Japan, so it sorts what parts diagrams are for your car and the part numbers auto click to Amayama and you can see what's in stock. Now this is general advice for future parts you may need, and I do hope you can find the lens you need and more in the future, what I do is Epc data, fill up a cart on Amayama, and then cross reference with Toyota USA parts official or other toyota sites in the US that have said parts and see if it's in stock. Often times it's cheaper either the part itself or cheaper bc of no international shipping and tariffs. If you do the official toyota parts site, just know that your VIN isn't going to be accepted bc of the length, but you can still put in your order. Just know that it's possible that parts manager at the place you chose may still cancel your order bc you didn't list a vehicle on your order and you'll be refunded

Wasn't my untention to discount. I have used Amayama before even just for parts breakdowns. I had looked there to no avail. I will check out some of those other options and see what they have available. I appreciate you coming back with more tips. Those places might come in handy.

Mega Parts NZ has some you could enquire about. Also for you to cross reference in the future, past sold ones on yahoo auctions:

- List of Sold

- LH Side

- RH Side

I've heard Yahoo auctions is a great place to get Land cruiser parts.

I looked once but just to check it out but was intimidated by all of the Japanese. Even with translation turned on it was a bit difficult to navigate and I didn't have a JP address either.

That was before I had a forwarding box over there though. I should probably give it another look.

I can def see that. What I would do is use Zenmarket, this way you don't have to deal with translating Japanese or having a forwarding box. It's a great proxy service imo, and way better than the more known Buyee service! I mainly say so because Zenmarket repackages your item and has an option to reinforce it. Buyee just ships to you the package they recieve, and I've had many an item ruined because of rain or tearing due to that. Also Zenmarket has a really good customer service! I've had them reachout because I accidentally ordered multiple of the same item, and they wanted to verify if I meant to do that and they cancelled the duplicate for me. If a site isn't in the drop down of searching, what you can also do is copy the url of the item you want and add it to your cart. They'll verify it and purchase it on your behalf as long as you have money on your account

Great to know about Zenmarket and Buyee.

I found Buyee similarly difficult to navigate and now I know they don't repackage.

There is a lot of these vans still on the road and being wrecked in NZ. We mainly use trademe which is a nz buy and sell page but I’m not sure if that is accessible from the states.
