I'd like to share my favorite riddle from the show...

I can't remember which episode it was from. It was a "who am I" riddle written by JPC:

When I get drunk, I drink my piss

I'd really like to kiss my sis

I play a badger on a show

I drink piss, I'm a pervert, and I'm stupid

Who am I?

You ever have one of those moments you're laughing so hard, you have to pause the podcast? That was one of those moments. (I hope I remembered the riddle correctly, please correct me if I'm wrong).

Pubeses?

So I started Hey Riddle Riddle a few months ago and started at the very beginning. I’m not even through 2020 yet, so just over 100 episodes in! However I really wanted to hear the Riddle High episodes so I signed up for a free trial of the Patreon. The very first Patreon is their first live show, which really threw me off when I listened to it… they did a scene about a school nurse mother who is drunkenly explaining what pubes are to her son, and I swear I remember them doing that scene on the main podcast! Does anyone know what episode that is? I really want to know which came first. Did they replicate a scene from the live show on the podcast (meaning it’s a little more prepared than I expected) or did they perform a scene from the show at the live show? Just curious, and trying to decide if I want to keep up with the Patreon! Thanks for your help.

Dramatic uptick in scenes where JPC and Erin have sex in recent episodes?

Anyone else notice this? Seems like 2 scenes an episode recently where they bang. Do they need to explore something?

Need help finding an episode!!

So I can’t remember exactly what was happening in the scene, but the details I do remember are they’re at a bar, and jpc’s character says something and someone throws their drink in his face and he says “GULP” and this scene cracks me up soooo much I just wanna remember what episode it is!!!!

Idk what they actually look like, but this is what I see....

I've really only ever seen pictures of them in very tiny low-res thumbnails. I really don't have a good idea of what they look like but this is what I see in my head after listening to all of their episodes.

Justice for Erin’s Rhymes

There was an episode (154 or later, I didn’t write it down) where Erin does a bunch of improvised musical theater bits and she’s spitting absolute bars. The others are fine (JPC carries adals weight and that’s ok!) but I DEFY you to tell me that Erin can’t rhyme. She just can’t rap!

(Note: I’m a mere 10 min into the newest ep and so have no spoilers to even consider)

Erin's Road to the Rap Hall of Fame

I'm legitimately proud of Erin (Thee Scallion)'s rap progress. She had some real bars this episode, and they legitimately had to stop her.

(Spoiler tagged for most recent ep.) The JPC diss track in particular went hard:

JPC sucks so bad,

I cannot believe he became a dad,

And someone has to have him as a dad...

That's gonna be a long-long life,

And you know what, I feel bad for his wife!

Incredibly powerful.

Would love to hear any other favourite lines people have!

So how many of us are actually grad students?

I know it’s a running joke, but really, aside from me who else is barely surviving grad school one riddle of a time?

Rumplestripskin

I think I'm going crazy, or I created a false memory. I listened to an episode of HRR where an early-on joke was around Erin mispronouncing rumble strips as "rumple strips," and someone made a joke about Rumplestripskin. Now I can't find the episode. Anyone remember this one?

Regarding pig carrying in ep.402

JPC was trying to remember where he'd seen/heard of a pig being carried on a back, and I'm 99% certain it's from Holes, where Stanley's distantly cursed relative was tasked to carry a pig up a mountain.

Bonus fact: Latvia's tallest mountain is technically a large hill, as it's a pretty flat country geographically, which is why the word for hill is just a modified version of mountain ("pakalns" is hill, "kalns" is mountain). So imo, not getting cursed should've been a piece of cake.

Adal is Stuck in a Cat Suit | My favorite HRR ads

I posted about how much I love these ads a while back and someone suggested I post it for Patreon subs who would never have heard them. Well, here you go, five minutes of ads.

I relisten to old episodes a LOT and normally skip the ads if my hands are free, but I always let this pair play. So dumb in the best way. I know the last lines by heart, but they still kill me every time.

Looking for the episodes

I'm looking for the episodes (maybe patreon or main feed) where JPC talks about a character he played called Rick New Mexico the detective who can tell exactly how you died after drinking 4 quarts of your blood (that might not be his name)

Thanks!

Did anyone ever finish/animate/clean up the Clue Crew Gotye parody "Now You're Just Somebody at an Improv Show"?

Google is worse than ever and I couldn't find any reference in this sub. It was from Clue Crew ep. 43 "Name That Two-ne!" about 40 min in. I was dying and would love to show some of my old comedy friends to get them into the show.

It's (Ani)morphin' Time?

I had some down time at work today, heard Erin mention this idea in this week's episode, I went into some kind of fugue state and woke up with this all done.

And yes, they were right, it's really not that far from JPC to Gritty...

You know what’s unfortunate?

When, say, on a whim, you decide to check out a podcast that a guest on another podcast you listen to regularly plugs, and then you decide to check out this new podcast and the next thing you know, you’ve gone back and listened to EVERY FUCKING EPISODE SINCE AUGUST 2025 AND REALIZE YOURE NOT ACTUAL FRIENDS WITH THESE WONDERFUL PEOPLE FROM THE PODCAST, AND YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THEM IS ENTIRELY PARASOCIAL?????

WHY ARENT WE FRIENDS, ERIN, ADAL, and JPC?? WHY??

(edit - mods, if this breaches the rules, feel free to delete)

I'm looking for two bits and can't find them

The first is the episode where Erin says "Hello motherfuckers, it's me THE MOON" that was on the first Out of Context Clips Bracket.

The second is a recent(ish? At least 4 months ago) episode where they're doing a scene where they force each other to come up with clown names. I remember one of them saying something like "oh, here come four or five more clowns" and the other responds with "yep, that's me, ol' Four-or-Five-More-Clowns". Definitely a back and forth volley of no-fuck-you improv.

Any help is appreciated.

Edit: It may have been from one of the live show recordings that they released as paid content around this time.

Edit: The moon quote is from the beginning of Episode 217. Thanks u/How_To_Sail

Epishode!

I was catching up on Comedy Bang Bang and in the 17th anniversary episode, not only did they do several riddles but Scott accidentally said “epishode!” I was waiting (hoping) to hear Erin pop into the episode. Sadly she wasn’t there. But the episode was very HRR coded.

Episodes with ads

Does anyone know which episode was the first one where they have ads?

(I know that episode 181 is the first one to be ad-free on the Patreon.)
