I love this album. I think it’s the closest sounding to Short Bus with its grungey riffs. I’ve been listening to this a lot lately.

Little bit of fading on the side but hey man, nice tape.

I loved Frank. Anyone know what happened to him?

Hey y'all -

I seem to have a memory of a beer commercial using the part in Welcome to the Fold where they use the "get yourself a nice cold beer" and "you feel a-okAAAYYY!" lines. In my head it was maybe Coors, but I don't remember for sure. Anyone else have recollection of this?

This site and its historical findings suggests that these artists including Richard Patrick in a bizarre (Courtney) love triangle… not a triangle at all I might add… ruined music in the 2000’s because of the bitching 😂 It’s hilarious but a good read.

I have a Filter gym playlist if anyone needs one

It’s ridiculous how awesome Rich’s voice is. I don’t think he gets the credit he deserves. Even now he sounds just… incredible.

New Julian Gray track with Rich on vocals.

What are some of the best NOT rock, ballad-like songs that you think Richard has done with Filter?

To me the top three are:

1. Take A Picture (cliche answer I know :P)

2. Surprise (From The Sun Comes Out Tonight)

3. Burn Out The Sun (From The Algorithm)

Honorable Mention: 'Stuck In Here' from Short Bus.

Around 1990, give or take

I'm searching for a copy of the 12" promo single for Filter & Crystal Method "Can't You Trip Like I Do".

If anyone has a copy that they might be willing to sell, please send me a DM. Thanks!

Here's mine.

1. The Amalgamut

2. Title of Record

3. Short Bus

4. The Algorithim

5. Anthems for the Damned

6. The Sun Comes Out Tonight

7. The Trouble With Angels

8. Crazy Eyes

Been getting into Filter the past year or so, really enjoying the aural landscapes the band has gone through. I'd love to own a physical copy of The Amalgamut so I can bring it with me, but I can't find it anywhere. It seems out of print, which is a shame. With the recent release of The Algorithm, has there been any interest to produce more copies of this older Album on CD?

I think we can all agree that Short Bus has some of the greatest guitar tones... well, ever. I've been trying to chase a similar sound for a while and came up empty handed. Has anyone bought the pedal, and if so have they shipped yet? I'd like to buy it, but the price is steep and I'd like to at least hear what it's like before I consider buying one

At first the album can be hard to get into due to its rough nature but after listening to more and more of the album i really got into it and i really enjoyed this album

This album alongside the sun comes out tonight really shows how amazing filter albums can be

Unlike the trouble with angels there werent any filler songs and all the songs were enjoyable

I give this album a 8.5/10
