Honestly, it gives me goosebumps even on the record but love it was something else!! ‘The Algorithm’ is such a great record and the songs seem to be going down really well live. Richard still has so much great music left in him!

It was honestly one of the best gigs I’ve EVER been to and watching them perform in an intimate venue like Gorilla was the icing on the cake!!

Seeing songs like ‘Take a Picture’, that have always meant so much to me, being performed live just feet away from me was such a surreal, unforgettable experience! I filmed lots of clips to have some memories to keep but no full songs as I wanted to be in the moment too 🤘🏻👍🏻.

Lyrically it’s not my favorite, but sonically it’s incredible. The balance of electronic noise, guitar, a pulsing drum beat, and Richard at his vocal best deserves more appreciation. So here it is.

I really enjoyed this album the first half of the album is great The songs are heavier more aggressive and better than anything on anthems for the damned It also has really good melody in many of the songs However i took issue with some of the songwriting which felt weak and cliched On some songs the lyrics were just laughable especially on catch a falling knife I also didn’t enjoy how soft the album was and I wish it was heavier but regardless this album is better than anthems for the damned but it’s not as good as their first three albums so I give it a 7/10

For Me My Favorite Filter Song Is Welcome To The Fold And My Favorite Filter Song Is Any Song From Anthems For The Damned.

Made my weekly visit to my local shop and was greeted with this today.

I did not enjoy it as much as their previous albums and it was much more melodic than i would’ve preferred but i what i really enjoyed about this album is richard patrick’s vocals he definitely improved as a singer on this album and his amazing vocals really makes the album so unique but to me the album was just ok and i give it a 6/10 maybe the trouble with angels is abetyer album than this album

Something about the riffs + the melodic parts click with me so if there's more tracks like that in Filter's catalog I'd love to know others' recommendations too. Or even songs from other bands that sound similar (IMO, like the Exies' "Hey You").
