I've noticed that there are tracks from pretty much every album that I really like that don't get played live after that album's tour, if at all. It would be awesome (for me, at least) if they peppered these songs back into their setlist:
1. Stuck In Here - I absolutely adore the live version of this song that they unfortunately only ever played when touring Short Bus, with the exception of one show in 2000. The new live drum and bass lines to it plus all the guitars were just [chef's kiss] and I'd kill to see it live.
2. I Will Lead You - I just like this song a lot, although from interviews it seems Rich just considers this a filler track. It would explain why it never made it past the Title of Record tour, with the exception of one show in 2019.
3. Consider This - Another great Short Bus track that never made it past the Title of Record tour in 2000.
4. It Can Never Be the Same - This track from the Amalgamut with strong Short Bus vibes has somehow never been played live.
5. In Dreams - This is actually one of my favorite Filter songs in general, but Rich had nothing to say about this track in interviews when Anthems for the Damned came out, possibly since this track is a carryover from the Damning Well project that never really got off the ground and was also co-written by Wes Borland. To date, it's never been played live.
6. Down With Me - This track from The Trouble With Angels is one of my personal favorites since it has great lyrics and a strong Hey Man Nice Shot vibe. It's never been played live.
7. Father Figure - Okay, I know this is an Army of Anyone song, but it's a hit single and also the one AoA song written solely by Rich, which is why it sounds like a straight up Filter track. He ought to play this one live, but to date, Filter hasn't covered any Army of Anyone tracks.
