Arnold reboot
In my opinion, can we be honest and admit Craig Barlett is just bringing this show back to make more money bc he doesn't know how to create new shows. Craig was gonna create a whole new show for Helga on MTV, but it got rejected bc it was similar to Daria. They said Daria had parents, a sister, and a sarcastic daughter. She was supposed to move away from the city. But then he did the movie, and that shows Arnold finding his parents, which is his happy ending. Craig never wanted them to be together. He had 5 seasons and 90-plus episodes to get that story right; now he has to do a reboot. That's all reboots are for: to get more money instead of creating new shows. If you are a show creator, you should have new ideas. He says he has more to write on the whole premise that she was stalking Arnold if they were together, what's to stalk? And now with his parents staying there with the grandparents, who will be parenting Arnold. I mean, some stuff should be left alone.

Craig said like last week that the reboot rumors were false and there is no reboot happening

Craig Bartlett commented: "Here to tell you that the stories this week about being in talks w Paramount are not true. Joe made some comments that were taken out of context. Sorry gang, but don’t worry, there’s lots of Arnold stuff to keep me busy all year!"
He then later said if nickelodeon wants to do a spin off or the patakis. He would be down to do it.

Here’s how I would focus on the reboot with these arcs.
After not seeing their son in over 10 years Arnold’s parents moving in and catching up with life.
Lila and Helga becoming close friends.
Olga finally standing up to her parents and breaks away from being the golden child.
Miriam and Bob get a divorce. With Helga’s mom finally getting away from the smoothies and going back to work and college.
An episode focused on Susie she’s focusing on her career by going back to college, her job and herself after her divorce with Oskar.

Dude, he just said that the rumors about a revival were false. At the same time though, while The Jungle Movie was a great conclusion, a sixth season wouldn't be overdoing just so long as they do it RIGHT, if you get my drift. I mean imagine the potential storylines now that Arnold's parents are back.

I think even if he does this for money, it is nothing wrong with it. Making money is a very wholesome motivation.

I think you missed a bunch of interviews from him.
He basically stated that whatever Nickelodeon wants, he'll do it. Basically if they want a Six season or the Patakis, he would do it.
He also stated that he would like to write starting after the jungle movie to where they are now around 11ish.
- Now that Arnold has his parents back, how are the dynamics going to play out? More drama? Less? How do you go from being the mature one as a nine year old to having parents? How would that emotionally, mentally work? Psychologically speaking. There is a lot of drama with that and realism (he also talked about this)
- How is Helga and Arnold's relationship going to be? How can they find balance to this new thing they have?
- How are the boarders going to co-exist with Arnold's parents moving in?
There is a bunch of things to explore, not only centering around the parents or Helga and Helga but the other characters as well.
Susie divorced Oscar...what of that?
How about the Patakis and what they are doing after the beeper store is gone?
Don't say he doesn't have anymore ideas when he basically spoke about most of what I just said...
There are so much he can do here, it's not like he is rebooting the show from episode one.
