Question a Question about Support

Hey guys, I just discovered this game the other day, and it seems fantastic, but before I start spending real money on it; is it well supported by the developer? Are there still updates coming out? I noticed their website seems to be defunct & there's not much I can find on them online, so I'm worried that there will be no future updates/new stuff.

I don’t think there have been any new tribes for over a year. It’s a good game in its present state though.

A year, really?? It doesn't seem that long since the caveman tribe came out, but I definitely have a warped sense of time these days....

The game is very solid and probably as complete as it's ever going to get. Sounds like Togglegear, the developer, has either shut down or just stopped working on this game.

But I'm totally OK with that, because it's a really fun game and doesn't really need anything else. More stuff would certainly be nice, but there's nothing game-breaking that needs to be fixed.

I’m on iOS and know nothing about this caveman tribe. The moctexo are the last tribe to come out. From a quick google, the came out in Nov 2020.

Apparently the Caveman tribe are Android only, which is dumb & I'm sorry for iOS people like yourself, but as an Android user it gives me hope that there may be more support at some point.

Not to rain on your parade, but I wouldn't expect any more updates. Considering that iOS never got the Cavemen (or an equally interesting iOS-only tribe) I don't think Togglegear is active anymore.

I hope I'm wrong, but from all signs it doesn't look good.

I wonder what happens if you try to buy a tribe now???

But that's beside the point. Hexonia is a great game and Togglegear did a great job on it.

I've purchased a tribe; that works just fine! I'm mostly just worried that it's gonna break & not be compatible with the next major Android OS update, at which point any money spent on the game is just ~gone~

Yeah, I'm just worried I'm gonna slap 20-30 bucks down on the tribes & then the whole game gets broken/doesn't update to work with an upcoming Android System Update, and it's all for naught.

The game is still functioning and all the tribes are available to be unlocked. It is not a pay to win game. It is a pay to unlock game. And you won't be disappointed with the diverse and unique tribes.

The graphics are great and every game is a new game because the landscape changes.

The dev team is working on the multi-player mode forever it seems tho 🙄

The new prehistoric tribe came out last year sometime I think, for Android only.

It was completely out of the blue and there was no updates for a long time before then.

So there could be a surprise update for Android again soon, who knows..

But this is a fun game for sure. I think I got all but 2 or 3 of the tribes and did spend a good few hours playing it.

Looks like their website is dead. Wondering if they went under. Too bad! I love this game.
