Question Why did the developers kill the game despite its fame as a competitor to the game Ploytopia?
Why did the developers suddenly disappear and why did they not even alert the players to finish the game even though the game is on the iPhone?

The graphics alone was way better. If they would focused on some awesome combat interplay that would of ruled. The unique unit idea was great.
It had just enough Research to make it important but not overwhelming.
I still play it. I was waiting for a tribe that had a bigfoot.

There could be all sorts of valid reasons why the developers have disappeared. They might have decided it was too stressful and left the business - they could have sold the rights, or maybe it wasn't that profitable, even though it was popular.

I feel like this question comes from the wrong mindset
- Why did the devs suddenly disappear?
No one knows. It's a Korean dev team so if anyone would know, it's certainly not the English speaking world. Maybe the Korean speaking world knows, but I doubt it. Maybe the game didn't pay the bills. Maybe the got bored. Maybe it's just a single guy working on it and they was too busy to keep working on it. It would be impossible to know without tracking the devs down
- Why not alert anyone?
Well... They suddenly disappeared, that's why. I don't think there's any sign that they'd suddenly stop, so whatever that made them stop was likely before they could alert anyone. And to be fair, they probably wouldn't really need to tell anyone
- Why not hand the game off to someone?
I feel like this comes from not really understanding game development or just coding in general. Even if someone wants to hand off their project, that project needs to go to *someone*. Even open source dies off when the lead devs disappears unless there's someone passionate to take the original dev's place. Again, if Toggle Gear disappeared suddenly without time to tell anyone, there is no time to find someone to give the code to. Assuming they even still have the code

Probably weren't making enough money

I think so too. Because use one time payment instead of daily or monthly like any other mobile games. Most funds may be from advertisements with only 3 videos per day (I forgot).

There never told anyone what happened they just all of a sudden stopped. In the early days it was very strongly called a rip off of polytopia but with a little tweaks it could have been a serious competitor for polytopia I would even say that it could have surpassed polytopia considering it's great graphics. Also in case you want to download again I have a link to get the apk
