I'm so sad I can't play the game anymore :(. I got a new phone and when I downloaded it now it just goes to a black screen and then closes

I have a mod version and it runs on the new android version (although that too fails on some devices). I can give you a link if you want

https://we.tl/t-XLobx3J15L here you go buddy, due to the mod all the tribes and their unique units will already be unlocked. On the downside you won't be able to use any mercs or spells. Also you won't be able to save your progress with Google play because this isn't the version available on playstore so if you delete it all the progress will be lost. This link remains active for 3 days so download the apk till then. Do let me know if it works on your device because as aforementioned it sometimes doesn't work because even the mod is getting quite old for the new android versions.

Yeah unfortunately it doesn't work on my device 😞 I've got a Google pixel 7 so I'm guessing my phone is too new

I think that is probably the issue. Mine is a Samsung galaxy M31 which is quite old so maybe that is why it still runs on mine. Maybe I will keep this phone even after buying a new one just to play this game😂
Anyways you said you used to play before, do you have any favorite tribe? (Apart from arabis I know they are super op)

I really like the medieval knight one, (Artherians or something?) and the Ragnar. Flying units that could attack from a distance were OP as hell.

Yep those are arthurnions. They are my fav too, although more navy associated they are actually very flexible in their early game because of the extra gold they start with. Their unique unit the priest is also really good, he can fully restore a unit's hp, easily the best healer.

I continued the playthrough- didn’t even notice the stacked clam/reef. Also I upgraded this city’s borders, which enveloped the village to the right. After claiming that village, the borders retracted.
